    Abstract: A discharge circuit includes a discharge switch trigger unit, a discharge switch unit and a discharge resistor unit. The discharge switch unit is coupled connected to the discharge switch trigger unit. The discharge resistor unit is coupled connected to the discharge switch unit. The discharge switch trigger unit and the discharge resistor unit are coupled connected to a voltage output side. When the output voltage of a power supply reaches a predetermined rated limitation, an over voltage protection circuit is activated, and the discharge switch unit is turned on by the discharge switch trigger unit, then the output voltage starts to decrease through the discharge resistor unit.

    Abstract: An improved control device for power factor corrections contains a voltage-raising circuit, a pulse width modulator to control the conduction of the voltage-raising circuit and an AC reference voltage circuit to control the output of the voltage-raising circuit. The AC reference voltage circuit consists of an error amplifier and a comparator connecting to an output port of the error amplifier. The voltage-raising circuit outputs a voltage to the error amplifier. The output port of the comparator connects to the output port of a full-wave rectifier through a set of voltage dividers and capacitor. Therefore, the output voltage of the AC reference voltage circuit conforms to the input voltage of the voltage-raising circuit, achieving the objective of correcting the power factor.

    Abstract: A network communication power supply with digital signal isolation includes a transformer, a transformer drive circuit, a rectifier, and a modulation signal duty cycle detection circuit. The transformer has a primary side and a secondary side. The transformer drive circuit is coupled to the primary side, and receives a digital signal input. The transformer drive circuit converts the digital signal input into a drive signal with a duty cycle corresponding to a logic level of the digital signal input according to the logic level. The digital signal input includes a power content. The rectifier is coupled to the secondary side and converts the power content to provide a power source. The modulation signal duty cycle detection circuit is coupled to the rectifier and supplied power by the power source, and provides a digital signal output with a high or low level according to the duty cycle.

    Abstract: A method of controlling a resolution of digital pulse width modulation is applied to a digital pulse width modulation generator. The method is to divide a value of a first duty clock by a value of a first pulse width modulation period clock to generate a first resolution. And then, if it is confirmed that a modulation command has been received, a second resolution is generated, and if it is confirmed that the modulation command is not received, a third resolution is generated. The second resolution is greater than the first resolution, and the second resolution is less than the third resolution.

    Abstract: An EMI-radiation suppression circuit is applied to a power converter having a main power switch. The EMI-radiation suppression circuit includes a control unit, a drive selection unit, and a switch unit. The drive selection unit is coupled between the control unit and the main power switch, and which provides at least two drive terminals. One drive terminal is coupled to the control unit and another drive terminal is coupled to the main power switch. The switch unit is coupled between one of the at least two drive terminals and a ground to receive a feedback control signal. When the feedback control signal activates the switch unit, the ground is coupled to the drive terminal to which the switch unit is coupled. Grounding the gate terminal suppresses the EMI and maintains operational efficiency of the power converter.

    Abstract: A discharge circuit for a diode reverse leakage current includes an input positive terminal, an input negative terminal, an output positive terminal coupled to the input positive terminal, an output negative terminal coupled to the input negative terminal, a diode and a current source device. The diode has an anode terminal coupled to the input positive terminal and a cathode terminal coupled to the output positive terminal. The current source device has a first end coupled to the anode terminal of the diode and a second end coupled between the input and output negative terminals. The voltage difference across the current source device is reduced by less than about 1 V when input voltage is switched off. The current source device continues to operate when the input voltage is normal. As P=VI, the loss is proportional to the input voltage, therefore achieving the objective of low loss.
