摘要： A driving display device includes a gray scale voltage generating circuit for generating a plurality of levels of gray scale voltages from a reference voltage, an amplitude adjustment register capable of setting the amplitude of a characteristic curve of a plurality of levels of the gray scale voltages with respect to gray scale numbers, and a gradient adjustment register capable of setting the gradient of the characteristic curve. With this arrangement, the gradient and amplitude of the gray scale number-gray scale voltage characteristic are adjusted.

摘要： A display driver for outputting gradation voltages corresponding to gradation data from an external device to pixels. The display driver includes a generator for generating a plurality of gradation voltages having a plurality of levels based on a reference voltage, and a selector for selecting at least one gradation voltage corresponding to the gradation data from the plurality of gradation voltages generated by the generator. The gradation data includes multi-bits for each color of red, green and blue, and the generator outputs or stops outputting each gradation voltage according to data for color reduction from the external device. The generator stops outputting at least one gradation voltage that is unnecessary for displaying as a result of the color reduction, when the color of the gradation data is reduced according to the data for color reduction.

The compression circuit includes a DCT calculation module operable to execute DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) of display image data, and an entropy coding module operable to execute variable length entropy coding of DCT conversion display data. Preferably, the display driving circuit further includes a decompression circuit operable to supply an OD calculation circuit with display data resulting from decompression of compressed display data read out the memory.

摘要： Provided is a touch sensor panel which can increase the detection sensitivity of a touch relatively readily. The touch sensor panel controller supplies drive electrodes of a touch sensor panel with a high-voltage AC drive signal with its low level set to a negative voltage and drives them. The time of change of a drive waveform supplied to the drive electrodes of the touch sensor panel is shifted relative to the time of change of a drive waveform supplied to a display scan electrode. The touch sensor panel controller uses a charge pump in synchronization with clock signals of more than one phase to produce a high drive voltage to activate drive electrodes of the touch sensor panel, and the clock signals of more than one phase are initialized each time the drive electrode is subjected to AC pulse driving.
