Abstract:
A method of laser-assisted pressing is used to adjust the pressing position with a laser projector and an impressible element while pressing an opaque object. The apparatus in this invention is characterized by a platform, a pressing unit with at least one press head, and at least one laser projector for projecting a laser beam to form a light area. The press head presses the impressible element to form a pressure mark indicating the pressing position. The light area is then adjusted to match the pressure mark. Finally, the relative positioning of the platform and the pressing unit is adjusted to match the light area with the area to be pressed. Thus the pressing position will be accurate in the pressing process.

In an optimal recording power calibration method for improving seeking stability on a recording power calibration area, a specific area serves as a data recording area during an optimal recording power calibration, wherein a length of the specific area is such that a plurality of times of optimal recording power calibrations can be performed. The method includes: an optimal recording power calibration step of recording, with different recording power, a first length of calibration data in the specific area, and calibrating optimal recording power, wherein a data sector recorded in this step is defined as a calibration recording sector; and a data recording step of recording, with data recording power, a second length of information having a logical address beside the calibration recording sector of the specific area, wherein a data sector recorded in the step is defined as an information recording sector.

A process for producing ultra-fine zeolite nanocrystals and their aggregates having an intracrystalline void within 1˜10 nanometers in size that comprises at least as follows: preparing a transparent silicate-containing aqueous solution, with optional elements as Aluminum, Titanium and organic template molecules, known to produce zeolite; heating the solution under a temperature of 25°˜100° C. for a certain period of time while keeping the solution still in a transparent state without forming colloidal zeolite; adding an anionic surfactant to precipitate the inorganic components; forming the dried inorganic-organic hybrid precipitate into a desired shape and then heating the shaped body with steam under a temperature of 100°˜200° C. and a relative humidity of 30˜85% for 1˜3 days to produce ultra-fine zeolite crystals having a size below 30 nanometers, and aggregates of ultra-fine zeolite crystals with a large number of intracrystalline voids whose size is within 1˜10 nanometers.
Abstract:
This invention provides a means to maintain the rotational speed and the relationship of the electromagnetic fields of a three phase induction motor and to determine the minimum voltage to excite the motor without it stalling. The three phase induction motor is driven by an inverter bridge circuit which converts DC input power into three phase AC output power. Feedback of the current provided to the inverter bridge circuit is split into positive and negative current flow periods which are used to determine appropriate changes to the three phase AC power magnitudes and phase angles. The inverter bridge circuit uses six insulated gate bipolar transistors to control the three phase AC power magnitude and phase angles.

A flat panel display structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The flat panel display structure includes a light guide plate made of optical glass, an optical film disposed on the light guide plate and glued thereon through a first glue layer, a display panel having a light incident surface facing the optical film and a display surface with an active area located at the central portion thereof, a second glue layer gluing the optical film and the display panel so as to cover the light incident surface including the projection of the display area thereon, and a light module emitting lights toward the light guide plate. The refractive indices of the first glue layer and the second glue layer are smaller than or equal to that of the light guide plate and the optical film.
Abstract:
A system for boot mode control using analysis of power state and system mode. The system includes an input unit, a system power state pin, and a keyboard encoder. The system power state pin records the power state of a computer system. The keyboard encoder receives a function signal from the input unit, checks the system power state pin and the system mode of the computer system, and attempts validation of the function signal according to the system power state pin and system mode of the computer system.
