A nozzle plate suited for a droplet generator is provided. The nozzle plate includes a nozzle layer and at least one filler. The nozzle layer has a nozzle and at least one trench. The nozzle passes through the nozzle layer. The trenches apart from the nozzle are formed on a surface of the nozzle layer around the nozzle. The filler is filled in the trench. The wetting angle of the surface of the filler is different from the wetting angle of the surface of the nozzle layer. The nozzle plate has higher surface wear resistance and lower probability of jamming at the nozzle.
Abstract:
A micro-fluidic manufacturing method of forming a color filter. First, a transparent substrate is provided with a plurality of black matrixes. Then, a plurality of ribs are formed on the black matrixes respectively, wherein the width of the rib is not larger than the width of the black matrix. Next, a plurality of micro fluids is injected within a plurality of predetermined areas separated by the ribs, wherein the micro fluids within each predetermined area are mixed to serve as an ink. Next, each ink within each predetermined area is dried to form a plurality of color layers of different colors. Finally, after removing the ribs, a transparent conductive layer is formed on the transparent substrate to cover the black matrixes and the color layers.

A display apparatus having a backlight module, a modulatable parallax barrier module, a polarizer film and a display panel is provided. The backlight module provides a linear polarized light having a first polarization direction. The modulatable parallax barrier module has an alignment state and a transparent state, and has a first alignment film with a first alignment direction on the light-emitting side. The linear polarized light passing through the modulatable parallax barrier module in the transparent state is kept in the first polarization direction, and passing through the modulatable parallax barrier module in the alignment state is transformed to a second polarization direction. The polarizer film has a transmission axis inclined toward either the first polarization direction or the second polarization direction. The modulatable parallax barrier module selects one of the alignment state and the transparent state according to an image information provided by the display panel.

Disclosed is a liquid nebulization system comprising a power supply unit, a signal generating unit, a liquid storage unit and a nebulizing unit. The signal generating unit receives power from the power supply unit to generate a main signal and at least an auxiliary signal, wherein the main signal and the auxiliary signal are added together to constructively and destructively interfere with one another to form a driving signal, further causing the nebulizing unit to nebulize the liquid contained in the liquid storage unit using the driving signal.

A system for manufacturing a micro-retarder and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The system for manufacturing a micro-retarder includes a carrying device, a heating device and a movement control device. The carrying device is used for carrying a polymolecule film. The polymolecule film is selected from a polymolecule film having an arrangement direction. The heating device is used for providing a heating source. The energy formed in the central area of the heating source is smaller than that in the peripheral area of the heating source. The movement control device is used for controlling the heating source and the polymolecule film to relatively move along a first direction, so that the adjusted heating source heats at least one partial area of the polymolecule film along the first direction and resumes the partial area of the polymolecule film to be non-directional.

A nozzle plate for use with a spray apparatus and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The nozzle plate has a plurality of orifices each including an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end and the outlet end have a geometrical structure with mirror symmetry and a centroid with positional deviation from a pattern center. The pattern center is the center of an imaginary circle circumscribed about the geometrical structure. The geometrical structure controls the propagation direction of liquid spray, expands the nebulizing range per unit density of orifices, enables product miniaturization, and saves energy.
Abstract:
A spraying device for atomizing a liquid is proposed. The spraying device includes a nozzle plate and an actuator. The nozzle plate is provided with a plurality of nozzle apertures. Each of the nozzle apertures includes an entry end for the liquid to enter and an exit end for the liquid to exit. The entry end and the exit end of at least one of the nozzle apertures are asymmetrical structures. The actuator is integrated with the nozzle plate to actuate atomization of the liquid. The spraying direction of a liquid droplet after the liquid is atomized can be controlled by modifying the shape of the exit end of the nozzle aperture.
