Abstract:
An electrostatic discharge protection circuit includes an input node coupled to receive an input signal and an output node coupled to output the input signal to an internal circuit. A first inductor is coupled to the input node and to the output node, and a second inductor is coupled to the output node and to a first power supply node through a resistance. A plurality of protection devices are coupled to the first and second inductors and are disposed in parallel with each other.

Abstract:
Techniques are described for processing graphics images with a graphics processing unit (GPU) using deferred vertex shading. An example method includes the following: generating, within a processing pipeline of a graphics processing unit (GPU), vertex coordinates for vertices of each primitive within an image geometry, wherein the vertex coordinates comprise a location and a perspective parameter for each one of the vertices, and wherein the image geometry represents a graphics image; identifying, within the processing pipeline of the GPU, visible primitives within the image geometry based upon the vertex coordinates; and, responsive to identifying the visible primitives, generating, within the processing pipeline of the GPU, vertex attributes only for the vertices of the visible primitives in order to determine surface properties of the graphics image.
Abstract:
A static random access memory (SRAM) is provided. The SRAM structure includes an SRAM array, a word line decoder, and a reference bit line device. The SRAM array comprises at least one SRAM bit cell made up of six transistors. The word line decoder is used for decoding a word line of the SRAM bit cell array such that the word line is activated at a starting time and is deactivated at a ending time. The reference bit line device is connected between the SRAM array and the word line decoder and is used for pre-deactivating the word line at a predetermined time before the ending time such that a voltage difference between a bit line and a bit line bar of the SRAM bit cell is equal to a predetermined voltage.

The counter is utilized for receiving a first clock signal and a second clock signal, and utilizing the first clock signal to sample the second clock signal to generate at least one counting value, where the first clock signal is generated from a first oscillator, and the second clock signal is generated from a second oscillator different from the first oscillator; the comparator is coupled to the counter, and is utilized for comparing the counting value with a predetermined value to generate at least one calibration signal; and the adjusting unit is coupled to the comparator, and is utilized for adjusting a frequency of the second oscillator according to the calibration signal.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the invention includes an image compensation module, an OLED display panel, and an OLED display apparatus. A target current value corresponding to a target gray level is stored in a compensation memory portion. A reference gray level and a reference current value corresponding to the reference gray level are stored in a reference memory portion. A compensation gray level can be obtained by an arithmetic compensation unit according to the target current value, reference gray level, reference current value, and gamma parameter. This may reduce the memory space needed for the compensation and reference memory portions, and compensate the images of the display apparatus and panel so that precise colors can be displayed with a high image quality.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a supplemental cache for use with a graphics processing unit. The supplemental cache can be used to supplement a vertex cache used with a graphics processing unit. The supplemental cache stores vertex values generated in assembling primitives from vertices provided to the graphics processing unit as part of an image geometry. Generated vertex values associated with a vertex determined to be shared by two or more primitives can be retrieved from the supplemental cache, so as to reduce the need to perform duplicative operations to generate vertex values for shared vertices.
Abstract:
An image pick-up apparatus includes a lens module, a base plate and an image sensor. The lens module includes a lens barrel and an optical lens. The optical lens has an optical axis. The base plate has a first surface facing toward the lens module, and an opposite second surface. The base plate has a through hole through the first and second surfaces. The through hole includes a first hole adjacent to the lens module and a second hole away from the lens module. The first hole is in communication with the second hole. The first hole has a first hole portion with a rectangular cross section. Inner surfaces of the first hole portion is inclined relative to the optical axis. An image sensor received in the second hole. The optically effective region of the image sensor has a smaller area than the opening of the first hole.
