A modular wheelchair assembly is adapted to be reconfigured between a fixed angle of tilt, a dynamically adjustable tilt-in-space configuration with the tilt axis being near the user's knees and a dynamically adjustable tilt-in-space configuration with the tilt axis being near the user's center of gravity. The reconfiguration is achieved by modifying a limited number of selectively removable components of the support assembly or the pivot assembly of the wheelchair.

A method and apparatus for semiconductor processing is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of transporting a wafer within a cluster tool, comprises placing the wafer into a first segment of a vacuum enclosure, the vacuum enclosure being attached to a processing chamber and a factory interface. The wafer is transported to a second segment of the vacuum enclosure using a vertical transport mechanism, wherein the second segment is above or below the first segment.

Described are techniques for clustering a data set of objects. Divide phase processing is performed to partition the data set into two or more partitions forming a hierarchy of the objects. Merge phase processing may be performing using the hierarchy to determine one or more disjoint clusters of objects of the data set. Optional preprocessing may be performed to determine weights for one or more features of an object.

High compression rate codecs in gateways servicing Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Voice Band Data (VBD) calls distort modem/fax Answer Back Tones (e.g., 2100 Hz), which may lead to signal distortion and call hang-ups. To prevent such occurrences, a method or corresponding apparatus forces originating and terminating gateways to stay in a low complexity non-voice compression codec (e.g., ITU G.711) after prenegotiating a high complexity, voice compression codec (e.g., G.729 or G.726) during a short beginning period of a voice call. The low complexity codec avoids distorted answer back tone leakage associated with previous solutions that use a notch filter to block the leakage, thereby significantly improving the success rate of a VBD call by completely eliminating modem answer back tone distortion caused by high complexity codecs that use voice compression and by completely eliminating use of the notch filter.

The at least one conference resource is reserved for the conference. Operation of the conference resource is automatically initiated without user interaction.

A tuning device uses a counter mode encryption cipher to encrypt counters associated with media content in order to protect the media content when it is sent to requesting device or controller. The encrypted counters are decrypted in order to consume the media content. The controller may send particular direction to the tuning device as to how the media content, encrypted counters, and other associated data are sent to the controller.

Apparatuses and methods for single disc arthroplasty and multi-segmental spine replacement. The implant assembly includes a first cage (20) adapted to be rigidly attached to a first vertebra, a second cage (20) adapted to be rigidly attached to a second vertebrae, and a spinal disc replacement prosthesis (10) positioned between the first and second vertebrae. A multiple test probe system is disclosed. The multiple test probe system includes a support and a mount pivotally coupled to the support. The mount is capable of pivoting to a number of testing positions. A number of probe assemblies are coupled to the mount and associated with a corresponding number of testing positions. The probe assemblies include a number of electrical contacts coupled to a number of wires in a probe bus regardless of a testing position of the mount. The multiple test probe system further includes an indexing device coupled to the mount to cause the mount to move between the testing positions, whereby the indexing device is a multiple linear actuator assembly.
