摘要: A sprinkler discharges a column of water downwardly onto a deflector that has a plurality of peripheral tines with a respective non-radial tapered notch separating each adjacent pair of tines. Opposed cutouts with tabs in the central portion of the deflector combine with the notches and with depressed peripheral tabs to produce a predetermined spray pattern.

摘要: The present invention is an apparatus and method for duplex printing of a sheet-like substrate in a continuous single-pass flat printing process. The device comprises a first conveyor unit in communication with a feeder and a second conveyor unit in communication with a delivery. Each conveyor unit has a printing device and a drying/curing device disposed adjacent to the conveyor unit for applying a printed material to the substrate. A transfer device is disposed between the two conveyor units for transferring the substrate from the first conveyor unit to the second conveyor unit and turning the substrate, thereby allowing both sides of the substrate to be printed. Alternative embodiments may include any number of conveyor units and transfer units.

摘要: Pet toys configured to accept an edible or chewable treat which can be readily replaced. The pet toys have a first portion and a second portion which releasably engage to retain the edible treat with the toy until the treat is consumed or otherwise removed from the toy by the pet. When desired, the toy can be disassembled by removing the first portion from the second portion, new treats can be added to the toy, and the two portions reassembled.

摘要: Disclosed are compositions and methods for triggering disease selective macropinocytosis. The compositions can serve as a marker of disease activity and as a trigger of enhanced macropinocytosis in tissues undergoing disease remodeling such as wound healing, cancer, PAH, inflammation, diabetes, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, diseases of the endometrium, psoriasis, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, fibrotic disorders, interstitial cystitis, autoimmune diseases, asthma, acute lung injury, and adult respiratory distress syndrome. The compositions can also serve as a receptor for disease selective cell penetrating peptides in the cells and extracellular matrix of diseased tissues.

摘要: An apparatus for enhancing audio comprising a first interface and a harmonizing module is disclosed. The first interface receive a first audio segment from a first source. The harmonizing module is coupled to the first interface. The harmonizing module is configured to identify at least one musical property of the first audio segment; calculate a subset of notes that are harmonious with the first audio segment based on the at least one musical property; and select from the subset of notes to generate an audio track to be played substantially synchronously with the first audio segment. A second interface may also be provided to receive a second audio segment from a second source. In this case, the harmonizing module may be configured to generate the audio track by transforming one or more notes of the second audio segment. A method is also provided.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a method for determining errors and metrics in a computer network. The method includes positioning an analyzer in communication with the network, capturing a data trace of the network with the analyzer, determining a network device topology from a first processing of the data trace, building user layer protocols using a second processing of the data trace and the determined device topology, determining errors in the network device topology using protocol experts applied to the user layer protocols in conjunction with the determined device topology, and displaying at least one of the device topology and the determined errors to a user.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a scalable method for analyzing a network. The method includes generating a data trace representative of the network, determining a topology for the network from the data trace, and sequentially analyzing each frame in the data trace to determine at least one of network errors, warnings, and metrics. The analysis of each frame generally includes analyzing a first protocol layer of the frame with a first expert engine, determining if a second protocol layer is present in the frame, passing the frame to a second expert engine, and passing the frame to additional expert engines if the frame contains additional protocol layers.
