    摘要: A wireless local area network (WLAN) includes a server and receiver, which includes a radio frequency (RF) front-end circuit that receives wireless signals from the mobile nodes within the WLAN and detects baseband signals. A signal waveform detector edge detects a signal waveform and generates a trigger signal indicative of the modulation type, data format and time-of-arrival (TOA) information of a desired signal to be captured. A baseband processor receives the trigger signal from the signal waveform detector and captures the desired signal. A system controller is connected to the baseband processor and configures the baseband processor for processing the desired signal and obtaining message data and signal metrics that are transferred to the system controller to be communicated outbound from the receiver as a client to the server.

    摘要: A method for heating an object having a variable weight that includes a medium is provided. The method comprises: (A) placing the object having the variable weight including medium into an enclosure; (B) initiating a heating process by subjecting medium including the object having the variable weight to a variable AC electrical field; and (C) controlling the heating process. The object has substantially absorbed medium in a first “cool” state and therefore includes a maximum weight in the first “cool” state due to absorption of medium. The object is substantially free from medium in a second “heated” state due to substantial release of medium from the object, wherein the released medium is evaporated during the heating process. The heating process is completed when the object is substantially transitioned into the second “heated” state. The method further comprises using an air flow having an ambient temperature inside the enclosure to carry away the evaporated medium from the enclosure.

    摘要: A location system for tracking assets within a terminal includes a Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) reference receiver within the terminal that receives GPS signals and generates DGPS correction data. In one aspect, a roving receiver unit is carried by an asset to be tracked within the terminal. It includes a GPS receiver that receives GPS signals and the DGPS correction data from the DGPS reference receiver. A tag transmitter transmits a wireless RF signal containing GPS location data based on received GPS signals and DGPS correction data. At least one access point is positioned within the terminal for receiving the wireless RF signal from the tag transmitter. A processor is operatively connected to the at least one access point for receiving GPS location data and determining a location of the asset to be tracked.
