摘要: A vehicle floor mat for a passenger foot well or a cargo area of an automotive vehicle comprising a mat body, first and second cavities formed in the mat body, and first and second barriers respectively configured for receipt within the first and second cavities when the first and second barriers are horizontally oriented in a stored position. The first and second barriers can be moved from the stored position to an extended position, wherein the first and second barriers are vertically oriented and extend at least partially above a top surface of the mat body. In the extended position, opposing surfaces of the first and second barriers together define a confined region therebetween in which a package can be contained during transportation thereof.

摘要: A vehicle floor mat for a passenger foot well or a cargo area of an automotive vehicle comprising a mat body and first and second barriers mounted to the mat body. The first and second barriers are moveable between a stowed position, in which the first and second barriers are at least partially received within the mat body, and a deployed position, in which the first and second barriers extend away from the mat body. Each of the first and second barriers comprises a support arm housed within a boot. When the first and second barriers are in the deployed position, opposing surfaces of the first and second barriers together define a confined region therebetween in which a package can be contained during transportation thereof.

摘要: Vehicle system information is communicated to a vehicle occupant by thermal haptics. A heat transfer device, such as a Peltier device, is used to locally control the temperature of an interaction area along an outer surface of a vehicle interior panel. A temperature differential between the interaction area and an adjacent area indicates the current status and/or the location of a control for the system. Multiple heat transfer devices can be used to provide a temperature gradient along the outer surface of the panel to provide the occupant with a thermally perceptible indicator of an available range of temperatures and/or a temperature setpoint for the vehicle system.

摘要: Storage bin arrangements for motor vehicles are provided. In one example, a storage bin arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a surround having a surround wall that defines a stowage space. A bin has a bin wall that defines a bin storage compartment. The bin moves in the stowage space between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the bin storage compartment is substantially disposed in the stowage space. In the open position, the bin storage compartment is substantially exposed. A flap arrangement includes a flap section extending between the bin and the surround wall. The flap arrangement moves the flap section relative to the bin during movement of the bin between the closed position and the open position.

摘要: A mobile-device retaining assembly includes a housing for mounting within an opening in an internal surface of a vehicle, a bed associated with the housing and configured to receive the mobile-device and to support the mobile device in an orientation that is generally aligned with the internal surface, and a first armature engaged with the bed and configured to engage the mobile device. The bed moves between a receiving position and a retaining position. The first armature remains stationary as the bed moves through a first stage of movement between the receiving position and the retaining position and then moves between a first disengaged position and a first engagement position when the bed moves through a second stage of movement between the receiving position and the retaining position. The first armature is configured to secure the mobile-device when the first armature is in the first engagement position.
