Abstract:
A pet shelter divided into a plurality of compartments of different interior temperatures with a temperature control device for controlling the temperature in the pet shelter, such that the interior temperatures change progressively across the compartments to blend into the temperature of the outside environment.
Abstract:
Alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons including ethyl benzene are isomerized to xylenes utilizing a catalyst consisting essentially of ZSM-23 zeolite, platinum (or other metal such as palladium, nickel, gold, zinc, or gallium) and an alumina support.
Abstract:
A zeolite of improved stability for use in acid-catalyzed reactions is prepared by mildly presteaming the catalyst under controlled conditions of temperature, time, and steam partial pressure. The resulting catalyst retains nearly the same activity as that of a fresh unsteamed catalyst.
Abstract:
An improved process for alkylation of isoparaffins with olefins to yield a product which includes a high proportion of highly branched alkylates for blending into gasolines. The improved process comprises contacting the isoparaffins and olefins with a catalyst comprising ZSM-20, preferably a HZSM-20 zeolite or a rare-earth cation exchanged ZSM-20 zeolite.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a torque display system and a method thereof. This system comprises an input unit, an operation unit, a memory unit, a display unit and a warning unit. The input unit is used to receive a torque signal sensed by the torque tool with or without a torque multiplier and receive a magnification parameter value inputted by the user according to the torque multiplier selected. The operation unit is used to compute a magnified torque value according to the torque signal and magnification parameter value. The display unit is used to display the preset torque value, the magnified torque value and the magnification parameter value inputted. The warning unit is used to alert the user that the preset torque value is reached and the computation of the magnified torque value is completed. The memory unit is used to save magnification parameter values of several torque multipliers.
Abstract:
A motorized wheeled vehicle includes a support frame, a head tube secured on the support frame, a front fork pivotally mounted on the head tube, a front wheel rotatably mounted on the front fork, a steering tube pivotally mounted on the head tube and secured on the front fork, a speed reduction control switch mounted on the head tube and provided with a plurality of contact points, and a contact board mounted on the steering tube and movable relative to the speed reduction control switch to press or detach the contact points of the speed reduction control switch. Thus, the speed reduction control switch has a multi-stage and micro-adjustment speed reduction function so as to reduce the speed of the motorized wheeled vehicle gradually when the motorized wheeled vehicle is turned.
Abstract:
A discriminative feature set (DFS) selection method is described wherein a forward wrapper framework and a self error-correction concept are used. In this approach, the first feature is selected using a statistical measure. After that, the feature that aims to correct the errors made by the current feature set is selected using a measure called correction score (CS) and is subsequently added into the feature set. This error-corrective feature-adding process stops until a required number of features are included into the DFS or a pre-defined accuracy is achieved. According to different levels of error correction, this method has three derivatives for different tasks and data. The speediness and adaptability of this approach make it efficient and effective for high-dimensional discriminative feature selection.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic brake device includes a motor, a control mechanism and an operation unit. The control mechanism includes a fixed seat, an electromagnetic valve, a press button and a rotation plate. The operation unit includes a mounting tube, a locking bar, a push button, and an elastic member. Thus, a user only needs to press the push button to lock or unlock the operation unit and the control mechanism to control operation of the electromagnetic valve so as to control the braking operation of the brake disc, so that the electromagnetic brake device is operated easily and quickly, thereby facilitating the user operating the electromagnetic brake device.
