The catalyst for short contact time catalytic cracking process of heavy hydrocarbons having contact time less than 1 second to produce light olefins of C2 to C4 carbon in the range of 40 to 60 wt % on fresh feed basis in a fluidized bed reactor which is concentric downflow reactor in presence of catalyst consisting of ultra-stable Y zeolite in the range of 5-10 wt %, 4 to 8 wt % of pentasil zeolite, 2.5-5 wt % of bottom selective material, 0.5-2 wt % of rare earth and 75-88 wt % of support material.

Abstract: Systems and methods for producing light olefin(s) are disclosed. The method includes contacting a catalyst with a coke precursor to form a light olefin selective catalyst, and contacting the light olefin selective catalyst with a hydrocarbon feed under conditions sufficient to catalytically crack at least a portion of the hydrocarbon feed to form a products stream containing a light olefin, here the light olefin selective catalyst is more selective than the catalyst in catalyzing formation of the light olefin by the catalytic cracking of the hydrocarbon feed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a light fatty acid alkyl ester with the formula of R1—COO—R2, and the method comprises a step in which a alkyl ether with formula of R1—O—R2 and a raw gas containing carbon monoxide go through a reactor loaded with a catalyst for carrying out a carbonylation reaction; wherein the catalyst contains an acidic EMT zeolite molecular sieve; wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from C1-C4 alkyl groups. The present invention has provided a new method for producing light fatty acid alkyl ester. In the method of the present invention, the carbonylation is carried out in the presence of the catalyst containing the acidic EMT zeolite molecular sieve, and the reaction activity is high, and the stability has been significantly improved, meeting the requirement of industrial production.
