    Abstract: A fiber placement head for applying a plurality of composite tape segments on a mold, including one or more lane assemblies each having one or more fluid passageways that receive compressed air; a piston assembly that selectively moves relative to the lane assembly in response to receipt of compressed air; an attachment site configured to releasably couple the lane assembly to a portion of the fiber placement head; an aperture in the lane assembly configured to receive a fastener that releasably couples a subassembly to the lane module, wherein a piston from the piston assembly engages the subassembly; and a subassembly releasably coupled to each lane module by the fastener received by the aperture.

    Abstract: A part cleaning machine includes a cradle moveable along an X axis, and rotatable about a first cradle axis. A part holder is attached to the cradle, and is rotatable about a second cradle axis. A chuck holder is moveable on a tool positioning plane that is perpendicular to the X axis. A tool chuck is attached to and moveable with the chuck holder. A tool holder is moveable relative to the chuck holder along the X axis. A plurality of tools are releasably attached to the tool holder for selective attachment to the tool chuck. A machine controller is operable to control movement of the chuck holder, the tool chuck, and the tool holder to transfer a selected one of the tools between the tool chuck and the tool holder, and position an appropriate tool and the part in different positions for several different cleaning operations.

    Abstract: A singulator conveyor system having conveying surfaces arranged in adjacent parallel configuration for separating and moving side by side packages. The singulator includes a first conveyor conveying lane having a high friction surface for conveying articles forward along a vertical side wall. A second conveyor conveying lane adjacent thereto has a lower friction surface including both forward and lateral conveying forces urging parcels forward and away from the first conveyor conveying lane and side wall. The lateral receiving edge of the second conveyor conveying lane is below the outer lateral edge of the first conveyor conveying lane and the conveying surface is transversely inclined and angled laterally upward having an elevated outer side edge even with or below the lateral receiving edge of an adjacent third conveyor conveying lane having a high friction conveying surface. The conveying surface of the second conveyor forms an inclined plane extending above an inner receiving side edge of the adjacent third conveyor conveying lane.

    Abstract: The shoe derailment device for use in derailing a conductor shoe assembly of a bridge crane from a conductor rail assembly generally has a wedge head provided at a longitudinal end of a body made of an electrically insulating material, the shoe derailment device being securable to the conductor rail assembly in a derailment position in which the shoe derailment device is positioned outside an operating zone of the bridge crane, with the wedge head facing the operating zone in a manner that if the conductor shoe assembly is moved outside the operating zone, into the area occupied by the shoe derailment device, the conductor shoe assembly is derailed from the conductor rail assembly as the conductor shoe assembly engages the wedge head and is maintained in a derailed state by the electrically insulating material when the conductor shoe assembly is engaged with the body.
