Abstract: A method of controlling application of at least one material onto a substrate includes configuring a material applicator having an array plate with an applicator array. The applicator array has a plurality of micro-applicators with a first subset of micro-applicators and a second subset of micro-applicators. Each of the plurality of micro-applicators has a plurality of apertures through which fluid is ejected. The first subset of micro-applicators and the second subset of micro-applicators are individually addressable, and a liquid flows through the first subset of micro-applicators and a shaping gas, e.g., air, flows through the second subset of micro-applicators. The flow of shaping gas shapes the flow of the liquid from the first subset of micro-applicators to the substrate.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for detecting and lessening fuel starvation conditions in an operating fuel cell system. The fuel cell systems comprise a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell with a regulating apparatus for regulating the pressure of fuel supplied to the anode inlet of the fuel cell, in which the outlet pressure from the regulating apparatus oscillates during operation. The methods involve monitoring an electrical output of the fuel cell during operation, determining the amplitude of oscillation in the electrical output, and then, if the determined amplitude of oscillation in the electrical output exceeds a predetermined amount thereby indicating a fuel starvation condition, taking a remedial action to lessen the fuel starvation condition.

Abstract: A tool for driving a threaded fastener includes a driver head, a motor, and an injector. The driver head includes a spindle rotatable about an axis. A distal end of the spindle defines a plurality of drive surfaces configured to engage mating drive surfaces on the fastener to rotate the fastener about the axis. The driver head defines a fluid passage having an outlet proximate to the distal end of the spindle. The motor is drivingly coupled to the spindle to rotate the spindle about the axis. The injector is coupled to an inlet of the fluid passage and configured to feed a liquid insulator through the fluid passage.

Abstract: A method of forming a vehicle panel includes deforming a sheet metal workpiece between stamping tools to form a first and second edges that converge at a corner of the workpiece's main surface. The first edge is defined by a junction of the main surface and a first flange. The second edge is defined the main surface and a second flange. Forming the first and second edges includes deforming the workpiece so that the second flange has a first region bent to a first angle relative to the main surface and an unwinding region bent to an angle that unwinds from the first region as the second flange approaches the corner. The method includes deforming the workpiece between a second set of stamping tools that deform the first flange and the unwinding region of the second flange until the first and second flanges are bent greater than 90°.

The method includes extracting a vehicle filename metadata for one or more vehicular files; parsing data of the vehicular files to generate categorized objects based on a vehicular data dictionary for the vehicular files; associating each of the categorized objects with a respective vehicle filename metadata; storing vehicular documents indicative of the categorized objects with associated vehicle filename metadata in a database system; building a query based on a search input acquired by way of a search interface being displayed; and transmitting search results in response to the search input. The vehicular data dictionary defines multiple terms indicative of decoding logic provided in the vehicular files.
