One exemplary embodiment is a method determining, with a plurality of agent nodes structured to communicate asynchronously in a distributed system, a first set of iterations including an iteration determined by each of the plurality of agent nodes; determining, with a first agent node of the plurality of agent nodes, a local vector clock; receiving, with the first agent node, a first iteration of the first set of iterations and a remote vector clock determined based on the first iteration; updating, with the first agent node, the local vector clock based on the received remote vector clock; and determining a first iteration of a second set of iterations based on the first set of iterations after determining all iterations of the first set of iterations have been received based on the local vector clock.

    摘要: A contact bounce reduction system including: a movable member, and a contact bounce damping device including: a body, a first ball and a second ball, a first resilient member and a second resilient member, a piston. The first resilient member holds the first ball in the seat and the second resilient member holds the second ball in the seat when the piston is in a default extended position, and a third resilient member biases the piston towards the default extended position. The movable member actuates the piston towards the retracted position, causing the first ball and the second ball to move radially out from the seat, and the third resilient member to accumulate energy.

    摘要: A transformer having a transformer core that forms a magnetic flux path between and through a top yoke, leg, and bottom yoke of the transformer core. A winding can be disposed about the leg. Further, a flitch plate, which can have at least one slot that is configured to reduce eddy losses generated by the winding, can be disposed adjacent to the leg and extend between the top yoke and the bottom yoke. The flitch plate can be clamped to the top and bottom yokes by top and bottom clamps, respectively. The top and bottom clamps can each include at least one cutout that reduces an attraction of stray flux from the winding and into the corresponding top and bottom clamps. Additionally, at least one of the top clamp and the bottom clamp can include an internal lattice structure.

    摘要: Systems and methods for fault detection and protection in electric power systems that evaluates electromagnetic transients caused by faults. A fault can be detected using sampled data from a first monitored point in the power system. Detection of fault transients and associated characteristics, including transient direction, can also be extracted through evaluation of sample data from other monitored points in the power system. A monitoring device can evaluate whether to trip a switching device in response to the detection of the fault and based on confirmation of an indication of detection of fault transients at the other monitored points of the power system. The determination of whether to trip or activate the switching device can also be based on other factors, including the timing of receipt of an indication of the detection of the fault transients and/or an evaluation of the characteristics of the detected transients.
