Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor includes a case to which a suction pipe and a discharge pipe are respectively connected, having a closed space; a reciprocating motor disposed inside the case, for generating a reciprocating force; a compressing unit receiving the reciprocating force generated from the reciprocating motor, for compressing a fluid; and a separation plate for dividing the closed space of the case into a low pressure portion into which a fluid is sucked through the suction pipe and a high pressure portion from which a fluid compressed in the compressing unit is discharged. Accordingly, the reciprocating compressor cuts off vibration generated from the compressing unit and the reciprocating motor and thus reduce the vibration transmitted to the compressor case and other elements so that noise can be reduced, life spans of other elements can be lengthened, and reliability of the compressor can be improved.

A coil winding number variable type motor for varying a cooling and heating capacity of a reciprocating motor includes: a plurality of coils separately wound and connected in series to each other so as to vary turn ratio among motor coils; a plurality of relays respectively connected between adjacent coils among the plurality of coils; and a relay controller for outputting and ON/OFF control signal for varying the winding number of the motor coil and controlling the relays according to a change in a load and a power supply voltage. The coil wound in the motor of the reciprocating compressor is divided into the main coil and the plurality of sub-coils and the winding number of the motor coil is varied by itself to control the stroke of the reciprocating compressor, thereby effectively coping with the change in the voltage or the load.

Abstract:
An operation control method of a reciprocating compressor is disclosed in which, in case that a motor is overloaded, an operation frequency is increased to render magnetic fluxes of a magnet and an input current are mutually offset, so that a reciprocating compressor can be stably driven even in case of the overload. For this purpose, while the reciprocating compressor using an inverter is operated at a rated frequency, a current load of the motor is measured and the measured load is compared with a pre-set reference load. Upon comparison, if the measured load is greater than the reference load, it is determined as an overload and the operation frequency is increased by as much as a certain value higher than an oscillation frequency, for performing an overload operation. In order to compensate a stroke reduction generated as the operaiton frequency is increased by as much the certain value, the voltage applied to the motor is increased by as much as a certain level according to the increased operation frequency, thereby performing an overload operation.

A structure for coupling a muffler for a linear compressor is disclosed. The structure includes a muffler including a hallow cylindrical inlet portion, and a contact portion having a predetermined area wherein one end of the inlet portion is outwardly and vertically curved, whereby one end of the inlet portion is inserted into a gas flow path of a piston, and one end of the contact portion contacts with an inner surface of the cover, and an elastic support member disposed between an inner surface of the cover and a side surface of an inner lamination for supporting one end of the muffler, for thereby stably fixing the muffler to the piston without using an additional coupling member.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a linear motor for a linear compressor that improves efficiency of a motor and simplifies a assembling process for a lamination by which the lamination is fixed by a fixing ring not by a welding process and lead wires are securely disposed. In a linear motor for a linear compressor for introducing and exhausting external gas by compressing, wherein there are an outer lamination and an inner lamination which is wound by a coil connect to lead wires and supported by inner coil springs, the linear motor according to the present invention includes: a lamination wherein protruding portions respectively having a caulking groove are formed at concentric circles of radially arrayed iron pieces, and a conductor connected lead wires which are connected to the coil is fixed thereto; and a non-magnetic fixing ring caulked in the caulking groove for preventing the iron pieces from being loosened.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and computer program products for generalizing a user-submitted query by forming one or more variants of the user-submitted query to generate one or more other queries, each of the one or more other queries being different from the user-submitted query. A generalized quality of result statistic is derived for a first document from respective data associated with each of the other queries, each respective data being indicative of user behavior relative to the first document as a search result for the associated other query. The generalized quality of result statistic is provided as the quality of result statistic input to a document ranking process for the first document and the user-submitted query.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for identifying points-of-interest. In one aspect, a method includes identifying points-of-interest (POIs) associated with one or more of multiple, selected geographic areas, and determining, for each of the multiple geographic areas, a score associated with the identified POIs. The actions also include generating a combined score for each identified POI based on the determined scores associated with the respective POI, selecting a subset of the identified POIs based at least on the combined scores, and displaying a link to the POIs in the subset.
