Abstract:
A computer system has a system memory, cache memory, system controller that process memory transactions. The system controller transmits a memory request to the system memory without waiting for the cache memory to be snooped to determine whether the cache memory stores information in an address corresponding to a selected address of the system memory. The system controller may transmit a snoop request to the cache memory concurrently with or after the memory request is transmitted to the system memory. The system controller may have a control switch that uses a first pathway for the memory request and a second pathway for the snoop request so that the snoop and memory requests can be transmitted simultaneously.

Abstract:
A multimedia capture system includes a plurality of imaging systems and one or more detection systems. The plurality of imaging systems capture image areas of a scene from at least partially different locations. The one or more detection systems determine a relative position of each of the plurality of imaging systems with respect to the different locations of the scene from where the image areas are captured. The relative position of each of the plurality of imaging systems and the captured image areas are used to generate a multimedia presentation of the scene. The capture system may be worn by an individual or may be on a stationary or mobile support.
Abstract:
A control system for adjusting suspension settings of a bicycle, including a bicycle sensor configured to sense a coasting condition and a non-coasting condition and generate input signals indicative of the sensed condition, and a control unit in communication with the bicycle sensor and configured to generate output signals in response to the input signals, the output signals receivable by the bicycle suspension to selectively adjust the suspension settings.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to pesticides, insecticides, insect repellant, insect anti-feeding, cleaning, glue dissolving and anti-irritation and wound healing compositions for humans and animals and, more particularly, to such compositions which are effective in killing, removing and/or repelling a wide range of endoparasites, ectoparasites and insects while also being non-toxic to humans, animals, and the environment. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is directed to an aqueous composition including a mixture of at least one ethanolamide and at least one esterified fatty acid. Another exemplary embodiment of the present invention is directed to an aqueous composition including at least one esterified fatty acid in water and at least one emulsifier. The aqueous compositions may be used as a cleaning composition, insecticide, insect repellant, glue solvent or to relieve irritation from and/or promote healing of insect bites, skin abrasions superficial burns and wounds.
Abstract:
A multimedia capture and presentation system includes a plurality of imaging systems and one or more detection systems. The control system adjusts the output of the captured image areas from the plurality of projection systems to conform to a display environment. The one or more detection systems determine another relative position of each of the plurality of imaging systems with respect to the display environment on which the image areas are displayed. The plurality of imaging systems output the captured image areas for the multimedia presentation system. The control system adjusts the output from one or more of the plurality of imaging systems to generate the multimedia presentation based on the determined relative position of each of the plurality of imaging systems with respect to the different locations of the scene from where the image areas are captured and the determined relative position of each of the plurality of imaging systems with respect to the display environment on which the image areas are displayed.
Abstract:
A mowing implement is equipped with a rotary cutter bar and utilizes right- and left-hand sets of converging drums to aid those cutting discs located outboard of opposite sides of a discharge zone to converge crop to the discharge zone. The inner two of each of the sets of converging drums are identical and have inverted bowl shaped lower end plates having conical surfaces which aid in lifting crop. The insides of the bowl-shaped converging drum end plates form voids, which together with flat horizontal ejector plates, mounted on respective cutter discs for sweeping beneath the inner two of each set of converging drums, keep crop from packing beneath these converging drums. Associated with each of the innermost ones of the inner pair of converging drums is a guide element defining a horizontal shelf located for guiding crop, elevated by the conical surfaces of the lower ends of the inner most converging drums, to the discharge passage. Crop that passes beneath the shelves is guided to locations of the discharge passage inward of respective side walls bordering the discharge passage by respective legs depending from the back sides of the shelves.
Abstract:
A tunneling apparatus includes a drill head and a steering shell. The drill head includes a main body having a distal end and an oppositely disposed proximal end. The steering shell is disposed at the distal end of the drill head and is moveable relative to the main body of the drill head. The drill head includes structure that assists in maintaining a precise line even in soft drilling conditions.
Abstract:
A system for determining the content of sulfur in a first fluid mixture includes a gas chromatograph including a sample valve, a first column coupled to the sample valve, and a second column coupled to the sample valve. In addition, the system includes a pyrolizer configured to subject the first fluid mixture to pyrolysis to produce a second fluid mixture that includes hydrogen sulfide. The first column is configured to separate at least a first constituent of the second fluid mixture from the hydrogen sulfide in the second fluid mixture and output a third fluid mixture including the hydrogen sulfide. The second column is configured to separate at least a second constituent in the third fluid mixture from the hydrogen sulfide in the third fluid mixture and output a fourth fluid mixture including the hydrogen sulfide. Further, the system includes a detector in fluid communication with the second column.
Abstract:
A multimedia presentation system includes a plurality of display systems and at least one control system. The plurality of display systems output image areas of a multimedia presentation to at least partially different locations of a display environment. The control system adjusts the output of the image areas from the plurality of display systems to conform to the display environment. The display and capture systems may be wearable, mobile or adjustable and can react to any environment. Editing environments allow the same show to be easily relinked to a new display configuration without any need for extensive user-driven layout revision. Virtual display configurations are simulated and presented on other displays.
