Abstract:
A tool and method for monitoring a transformation of source markup by a rules-based transformation engine are provided. The transformation engine comprises a matching component, for scanning the source markup and generating edit information in accordance with a set of rules, and a transforming component, for transforming the source markup into transformed markup in accordance with the rules. The tool comprises a text modifier for receiving the source markup, transformed markup, and edit information. The text modifier modifies the source markup and/or transformed markup in accordance with the edit information such that rendering of the modified markup produces a page displaying the markup and highlighting those portions affected by transformations. The tool may be implemented in a reverse proxy mechanism to show how content has been transformed by the transformation engine and by which particular rules, in order to debug the dynamic proxying of markup content sent by backend servers.
Abstract:
Devices that detect and monitor components and fluid used with an injector system, such as an angiographic injector system, are disclosed. The devices may include mechanical, electrical or software based indexing or keying features to ensure that only compatible components are used on the system. In addition, these devices may also be used to track and/or monitor fluid volume and use during various injection procedures. Single use and multiple use components, conveniently supplied in kits, may also be tracked and/or monitored by the devices of the present invention.
Abstract:
A fixed wireless system (FWS) utilizing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication techniques is spectrally efficient and responsive to communications involving both voice and high speed data, such as Internet data. The FWS includes a wireless base unit; a plurality of fixed wireless remote units; a plurality of wireless data traffic channels available between the wireless base unit and the plurality of fixed wireless remote units; and a plurality of wireless voice traffic channels available between the wireless base unit and the plurality of fixed wireless remote units. Each wireless traffic channel is identifiable by a unique combination of frequency and time slots. Each wireless data traffic channel is used for carrying high speed data in addressed data packets to and from the plurality of fixed wireless remote units. On the other hand, each wireless voice traffic channel can be assigned and dedicated to a particular voice communication call involving one of the plurality of fixed wireless remote units for carrying voice data of the call.
Abstract:
This invention provides methods and apparatus for enabling access to restricted information contained at a semi-trusted web-server. Restricted information is information that is only available to a selected group of authorized clients. A client desiring access to the restricted information authenticates itself with a trusted web-server, and obtains a client credential. The client then contacts the semi-trusted web-server with the credential and obtains access to the restricted content. The restricted information may be encrypted at the semi-trusted web-server, so that the restricted information is secure even if the semi-trusted web-server is not completely secure.
Abstract:
A system and method for implementing a wireless data transmission scheme through the use of a display capable of displaying symbolic information, a data acquisition device capable of identifying and capturing said displayed information and a mitigation device adapted to allow the data acquisition device to capture the symbolic information. The symbolic information may be a barcode displayed on an LCD outputting linearly polarized light. The data acquisition device may be a laser scanner, and the mitigation device may be a quarter wave retarder located between the display and the scanner. A larger system may utilize this wireless system or a different front end in a more generalized backend information transfer system. The backend system may include a centralized data center adapted to be used with retail couponing, ticketing, digital receipts, or a plurality of other information systems in which data is used separately from its storage location.
Abstract:
A discrete multitone stacked-carrier spread spectrum communication method is based on frequency domain spreading including multiplication of a baseband signal by a set of superimposed, or stacked, complex sinusoid carrier waves. In a preferred embodiment, the spreading involves energizing the bins of a large Fast Fourier transform (FFT). This provides a considerable savings in computational complexity for moderate output FFT sizes. Point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint (nodeless) network topologies are possible. A code-nulling method is included for interference cancellation and enhanced signal separation by exploiting the spectral diversity of the various sources. The basic method may be extended to include multielement antenna array nulling methods for interference cancellation and enhanced signal separation using spatial separation. Such methods permit directive and retrodirective rev transmission systems that adapt or can be adapted to the radio environment. Such systems are compatible with bandwidth-on-demand and higher-order modulation formats and use advanced adaptation algorithms. In a specific embodiment the spectral and spatial components of the adaptive weights are calculated in a unified operation based on the mathematical analogy between the spectral and spatial descriptions of the airlink.
Abstract:
A latch system for providing adjustment of a seat back relative to a seat bottom includes a seat-back latch mechanism interconnecting the seat back and the seat bottom for movement of the seat back between a use position and a folded position and a floor-latch mechanism selectively connecting the seat bottom to the base for movement of the seat bottom between a deployed position and a stowed position. An interlock mechanism interacts with the floor-latch mechanism and the seat-back latch mechanism to selectively block operation of the floor-latch mechanism and the seat-back latch mechanism.
