Abstract:
The present invention discloses a switching amplifier and its modulations process, which belongs to the field of non-filters-type switching amplifier. The switching amplifier comprises; pulse-width modulation with dual comparator, multiple-loop feedback structure, only one integrating amplifier with dual-ends output needed for each loop, no less than two feedback loops set between the integrating amplifier and H-bridge, in addition, no any low-pass filters needed adding to the feedback path. Multiple feedback loops are adopted in the present invention, which can low the distortion of the switching amplifier to the extent. Furthermore, no any extra low-pass filters are needed adding to the feedback path, which making the products a higher cost effectiveness.
Abstract:
The present invention features a direct, closed-loop method for controlling an unbalanced, power-distribution network having a great number of nodes, branches and laterals, as well as multiphase loads. The network has a radial structure. One or more formulae are first derived for a power-distribution network. The formulae may be an explicit loss formula, a voltage formula, a line flow formula or any combination thereof. Network flow programming techniques which incorporate the formulae are then developed to directly achieve steady state. Finally, the control steps are performed on the power-distribution network in real time to control its operation. The control steps may include placing a capacitor, regulator or switch at a specific position in the network and/or reconfiguring the network in some other manner.
Abstract:
A multifunctional arm cranking exerciser includes an omnidirectional support bracket assembly, which comprises a five-way bracket mounted to a top thereof and having a left side to which a left arm exercising device is mounted and a right side to which a right arm exercising device is mounted. Also mounted on the five-way bracket are a damping adjustment device and a quick release pin device. The quick release pin device allows for quick coupling and positioning of left and right arm cranks of the left and right arm exercising devices at an angular difference of 0 degree or 180 degrees and also allows for quick release and decoupling of the left and right arm exercising devices to be independent of each other. The damping adjustment device adjusts and regulates a level of damping for achieving an effect of efficient exercising.
Abstract:
A safety blood collection device including holder housing adapted to maintain a needle cannula with a puncture tip extending from a forward end thereof and to receive a sample collection tube through a rearward end thereof. A retainer coacts with the holder housing to maintain the needle in a first position with the puncture tip of the needle extending from the forward end of the holder housing. The retainer is adapted for activation so as to release the needle from this first position, thereby permitting the needle to move based on the force of gravity and the weight of the needle to a second position in which the puncture tip of the needle cannula is contained within the interior chamber of the holder housing. As such, upright placement of the holder housing upon activation of the retainer will permit the needle to drop within the holder housing, thereby containing the needle cannula therein as a self-contained assembly.
Abstract:
A simulation method for realizing large batches and different kinds of baseboard management controllers using a single server includes providing a virtual baseboard management controller by a target terminal according to different customized virtual baseboard management controller resources correspondingly. The simulation method includes initializing large batches and different kinds of virtual baseboard controller programs according to a customizable virtual baseboard controller resource. If a client requests to access one baseboard controller or multiple baseboard controllers, which virtual baseboard controller will provide a service is determined according to the information of the accessing request of the client. Then an output result is generated according to the behaviors defined in the customized resource. Finally, the output result is transferred to the client. Therein, the client may connect to the target terminal through Internet or a bus.
Abstract:
An actuator comprises a motor that drives a screw to rotate through a pulley mechanism and a reduction mechanism. The actuator is advantageous by easy assembly, easy replacement of the reduction mechanism and easy reconfiguration of the motor and the reduction mechanism.
Abstract:
A drug-delivery system is provided including at least 100 μg of everolimus and clobetasol, such that the ratio of everolimus to clobetasol is at least 10:1 (w/w) or the amount of everolimus by weight is at least 10 times more than clobetasol. The system can be a stent. Also provided a method of treating restenosis or vulnerable plaque of a blood vessel, the method includes locally administering to a patient a first drug selected from a group consisting of rapamycin (sirolimus), Biolimus A9, deforolimus, AP23572, tacrolimus, temsirolimus, pimecrolimus, zotarolimus (ABT-578), 40-O-(2-hydroxy)ethylrapamycin (everolimus), 40-O-(3-hydroxy)propylrapamycin, 40-O-[2-(2-hydroxy)ethoxy]ethylrapamycin, 40-O-tetrazolylrapamycin and 40-epi-(N1-tetrazolyl)rapamycin, and locally administering to a patient a second drug consisting of clobetasol, wherein the minimum amount of the first drug that is locally administered is 100 μg, and wherein the ratio of the first drug to the second drug is, for example, 10:1 to 100:1 (w/w).
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a method for centrally distributing screensaver video to protect display devices, which is implemented to a central VOD system comprising a remote video server, a plurality of signal transmission devices, and display devices each connected to a signal transmission device. The remote video server has a plurality of ordinary video data and at least a screensaver video data therein; each signal transmission device may receive a screensaver video data and at least one ordinary video data, and then transmit the screensaver video data and the ordinary video data to the display device connected thereto. The signal transmission device outputs the screensaver data on the display device when not receiving any control signal within a predetermined period of time, and does not resume the original ordinary video data on the display device unless the signal transmission device receives the control signal again.
Abstract:
A method of dynamically showing a water mark is applied in an audio/video transmitter. The audio/video transmitter includes a plurality of display contents such as a playback area name, a playback date, a playback time and an identification mark. The audio/video transmitter continues obtaining a plurality of frames from an audio/video source such as an audio/video server or an audio/video database and temporarily stores the frames in a buffer. The audio/video transmitter also produces a water mark from at least one display content according to a plurality of display conditions such as display coordinates, appearance, time and frequency, and composes the water mark with at least one frame stored in the buffer to form at least one display screen, and shows the display screen on an output unit, such that the water mark on the display screen cannot be changed or overwritten, and viewers can identify the water mark easily.
