    摘要: An input waveform signal is converted in an A/D converter into a digital signal to be written in a waveform memory under control of a tone generation control unit. The written digital signal is read out from the waveform memory with a designated delay time. The input waveform signal and the digital signal read out from the waveform memory are converted in a D/A converter into analog signals which are fed through VCFs and VCAs so as to be sounded. Further, in the above arrangement the timbre and tone volume controls are done independently for the individual waveform read/write channels through VCFs 12a to 12d and VCAs 13a to 13d. Thus, it is possible to obtain a further effected sound.

    摘要: A transport path switching device for switching a straight transport path for carrying out the recording operation over the rigid medium and a double-sided recording transport path having a medium inverting path branched in a middle of the straight transport path in order to carry out the recording operation over the both sides of the non-rigid medium, includes:a rotatable gate member, provided at a portion in which the medium inverting path is branched from the straight transport path; and a flap, formed with the gate member and adapted to guide the non-rigid medium to the medium inverting path. When the rigid medium is transported, a part of the rigid medium acts on the gate member directly or indirectly, thereby rotating the gate member in such a direction that the flap is opened, and the rigid medium can pass through a position of the flap to advance straight.

    摘要: When a PC (a transmission device) transmits an externally taken-in audio file to an electronic dictionary (a receiving device), the PC encodes the audio file and stores the compressed audio file into its own memory temporarily. On the basis of the file management data created by a file management system when the compressed audio file was stored in the memory, the PC generates a file list for the audio files to be transferred. The file list is encrypted using an encryption key. Then, the encryption key, encrypted file list, and compressed audio file are transmitted to the electronic dictionary. The electronic dictionary stores the encrypted file list and compressed audio file into an SD card and decrypts the encrypted file list using the encryption key. When the decrypted file list corresponds to the compressed audio file, the process of expanding the compressed audio file into an audio file is permitted.
