    摘要: An antenna device includes a plurality of radiation elements, at least one or more reactance elements, and a changeover switcher for selectively switching over between one circuit pattern forming a first-type antenna such as a diversity antenna where a predetermined one of the plural radiation elements is used as a feed element, and another circuit pattern forming a second-type antenna such as an ESPAR antenna where one of the plural radiation elements is used as a feed element while the reactance elements are connected to the other radiation element. According to this antenna device, the receiving sensitivity can be improved by using a reduced number of radiation elements in a mobile communication apparatus such as a cellular telephone.

    摘要: In order to have an antenna apparatus small in size and capable of switching its directivity pattern without degrading its antenna efficiency, the present invention provides an antenna apparatus having a driven element formed at an approximately center position of a planar printed circuit board and parasitic elements not performing feeding formed before and behind the first antenna element, respectively, so that the driven element is caused to function as a radiator and either one of the parasitic elements is made to have a length as long as an electrical length of a radiator or slightly shorter than that to function as a director and the other one of the parasitic elements is left to have an electrical length longer than that of the radiator to function as a reflector.

    摘要: In a master cylinder for use in various braking devices of an automatic vehicle and the like, a cylinder housing is constituted by a body having an opening at one end thereof and by a cap which is coupled with the body to close the opening. A piston is inserted through the cap and is freely slidably arranged inside the cylinder housing and is guided by a piston guide or a sleeve having a path which is in communication with an external fluid path. The master cylinder has a single groove or a plurality of grooves with a micro-sized depth defined in the surface of the piston guide where it engages the cylinder housing between the external fluid path and a pressure chamber defined by the master cylinder and piston. The master cylinder also has a tapered portion provided on the inner surface of the cylinder housing, and another tapered portion is provided on the end of the sleeve. The sleeve is assembled to the cylinder housing by bringing the tapered portion into abutment with the tapered portion on the cylinder housing.

    摘要: A brake booster of tandem type includes a valve body, a rear power piston, a front power piston and a centerbody slidably extending through a centerplate which is centrally disposed within a shell, all of which are integrally connected together by utilizing a hub. An end of the hub located adjacent to the valve body is formed with an engaging portion which extends radially outward, while the shank portion of the valve body is formed with an axial groove which permits the engaging portion to pass there through and is also formed with an engaging recess circumferentially displaced from the axial groove and receiving the engaging portion. The engagement between the engaging portion and the engaging recess allows the hub to be assembled with the valve body while preventing the withdrawal of the hub forwardly from the valve body and also preventing the relative rotation therebetween, all with a greatly simplified construction.

    摘要: In a discharge system that outputs DC power from a vehicle battery to the outside, improved safety is obtained during discharge of the battery. A discharge system includes an electric car having a battery unit mounted thereon, and a discharge device that discharges the battery unit. The electric car includes a connector to which the discharge device is connected, and a power line that connects the connector and the battery unit to each other. In the power line, switches and switching elements are provided. The switches render the power line conducting upon permission from the discharge device and a battery management unit. The switching elements adjust a current flowing in the power line when the battery unit is discharged.
