摘要: The application provides an antenna and a communications device, and pertains to the field of antenna technologies. The antenna includes a horizontally polarized antenna and a vertically polarized antenna that are disposed in a superposition manner. The horizontally polarized antenna includes a metal sheet, and the metal sheet can be separately connected to a double-sided parallel strip line in the horizontally polarized antenna and a first conductor of a coaxial cable. A diameter of a maximum inscribed circle of the metal sheet is greater than a line width of the double-sided parallel strip line, and both the metal sheet and the coaxial cable are located on a first side of a substrate. Therefore, the metal sheet can effectively suppress an induced current in the coaxial cable, and impact of the induced current on the vertically polarized antenna can be reduced.

摘要: A pattern reconfigurable antenna includes a radiator, a first parasitic element, a second parasitic element, a ground plane, a first switch and a second switch. The radiator includes a feed portion and a radiating portion that are interconnected. The first and second parasitic elements are symmetrically located at two opposite sides of the radiating portion, and are closely adjacent to and spaced apart from the radiating portion. The ground plane is located at another side of the radiating portion, and is spaced apart from the first and second parasitic elements. Each of the first and second switches is connected between the ground plane and a respective one of the first and second parasitic elements, and is operable to establish connection between the same.

摘要: A microwave system comprises an antenna, antenna feed, a radio transceiver, and appropriate cabling among the aforementioned. Cost, performance and reliability improvements are achieved with further integration of these elements and with design improvements in the antenna feed. One improvement is the integration of the radio transceiver with the antenna feed. This improvement has many benefits including the to elimination of RF cables and connectors. Another improvement, is the incorporation of parasitic radiators and sub-reflectors as part to of the antenna feed. The entire antenna, including the feed design is optimized with 3D finite element method (FEM) software and numerical optimization software. Another improvement is the utilization of the digital cable to power the integrated radio transceiver and a center fed parabolic reflector.

摘要: This disclosure provides a horizontal radiation antenna including a grounded conductor plate on the back surface of a multilayer substrate, a radiation element to which a microstrip line is connected on a front surface of the multilayer substrate, and a passive element on an end portion side of the multilayer substrate compared with the radiation element. An intermediate grounded conductor plate is provided within the multilayer substrate between insulation layers and faces the microstrip line. The intermediate grounded conductor plate defines a notch portion whose end portion side is open. The intermediate grounded conductor surrounds the radiation element and the passive element in the notch portion. The intermediate grounded conductor is electrically connected to the grounded conductor plate.

摘要: An antenna unit prevents a communication error by suppressing side lobes formed by an antenna coil segment of a reader/writer device. The antenna unit (200) is used for a reader/writer device (20) whose signal processing circuits (210) and (220) communicate with an IC card (10) via electromagnetic waves, wherein an antenna coil (100) of the IC card (10) relatively gets close to the antenna unit (200). The antenna unit (200) includes the antenna coil segment which forms a loop antenna (202) on a substrate (201) and conductor segments (203) at the periphery of the antenna coil on substantially the same plane of the antenna coil.

摘要: An antenna device and a transmitting and receiving unit using the device which are capable of simultaneously polarizing each direction of a plurality of beams are provided without increasing the size of the whole device. For example, when the detection is achieved by forming a plurality of beams such as a radar of monopulse type, the angle measurement range is easily extended. A movable part is provided with a plurality of primary radiators and movable part side transmission lines (dielectric strips of NRD guide) to be coupled therewith, and a fixed part side is provided with dielectric lenses to form each focal plane at the position of primary radiators, and fixed part side transmission lines (dielectric strips of NRD guide) to be respectively coupled with the movable part side transmission lines. A plurality of beams are simultaneously tilted by displacing the movable part.

摘要: There is provided an antenna including (a) a first micro-strip antenna, (b) a second micro-strip antenna spaced away from and facing the first micro-strip antenna, (c) a ground plate located between the first and second micro-strip antennas, the ground plate being formed with an opening overlapping both the first and second micro-strip antennas, (d) a first dielectric material sandwiched between the first micro-strip antenna and the ground plate, (e) a second dielectric material sandwiched between the second micro-strip antenna and the ground plate, and (f) a micro-strip line formed on a surface of the first dielectric material and connected to the first micro-strip antenna. In accordance with the antenna, when electromagnetic wave is supplied to the first micro-strip antenna, the first micro-strip antenna resonates and radiates electromagnetic waves to atmosphere therearound. The second micro-strip antenna is electromagnetically coupled to the first micro-strip antenna through the opening formed at the ground plate. As a result, the second micro-strip antenna resonates to the first micro-strip antenna to thereby radiate electromagnetic waves to atmosphere similarly to the first micro-strip antenna. Hence, the antenna is able to have bi-directional or non-directional characteristic. In addition, since electric power is supplied only to the first micro-strip antenna, it is no longer necessary for the antenna to include a three-dimensional power distributor unlike a conventional antenna, ensuring that the antenna can be fabricated in a smaller size.
