    摘要: An apparatus and method for attenuating a stereoscopic sense of a stereoscopic image. To generate a stereoscopic image to which a disparity is applied, an object for which a stereoscopic sense attenuation is performed is extracted from among at least one object in the stereoscopic image, a stereoscopic sense attenuation degree corresponding to a position of the at least one object is calculated, and a final stereoscopic image in which the calculated stereoscopic sense attenuation degree is applied to the extracted object is output. Accordingly, a stereoscopic sense of a stereoscopic image displayed to overlap a display screen edge is attenuated, thereby minimizing eye fatigue and visual displeasure.

    摘要: A play-out apparatus and method for switching a channel in a digital multimedia broadcasting receiver are provided which can decrease a delay occurring in a channel switching time. A demultiplexer demultiplexes a signal received from a transmitter and outputs video data. A time stamp adapter changes a time stamp for indicating a play-out time of the video data such that the video data can be immediately output from a playback buffer without a Coder-Decoder (CODEC) delay, and outputs the video data including the changed time stamp. The playback buffer buffers and outputs the video data output from the time stamp adapter according to the changed time stamp. A video decoder decodes and outputs the video data output from the playback buffer according to the changed time stamp. A display unit plays the decoded video data out.

The apparatus includes a first camera module, a second camera module, and an effect processor. The first camera module shoots a first image of an object, and the second camera module shoots a second image of the object. The effect processor searches for a block that corresponds to the first image from the second image, checks whether the block searched for from the second image is a block belonging to a background. When the block searched for from the second image is the block belonging to the background, the effect processor blurs the block searched for from the second image. The two camera modules are mounted in the portable camera module to discriminate an object from a background of an image, so that out-of-focus shooting that allows only the object to be focused is realized.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for processing a stereo image are provided. In the method, a first image and a second image are obtained via a first camera module and a second camera module installed spaced by a predetermined distance. When the stereo image is captured, the first image and the second image are alternatively sampled with a predetermined time interval. The sampled at least one first image and the sampled at least one second image are encoded. Therefore, the stereo image can be compressed with low complexity compared to the case of compressing a stereo image using a 2D image compression technology.
