Abstract:
An alternating current signal transfer apparatus includes: a transmission line; a plurality of first phase shifters connected to the transmission line at a branching point; a plurality of resonator pairs including a power transmitting coil and a power receiving coil and each connected to each of the plurality of first phase shifters; and a plurality of second phase shifters each connected to each of the plurality of resonator pairs. The plurality of second phase shifters are connected at a connecting point.
Abstract:
A method for processing a resin member includes: irradiating a first member comprising a resin with first light of a first wavelength that causes electronic excitation of the resin; and irradiating the resin electronically excited through irradiation with the first light with second light of a second wavelength longer than the first wavelength. A wavelength range of the second wavelength is within a wavelength range in which light absorption of the resin increases through electronic excitation of the resin.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of a processed resin substrate includes: preparing a resin substrate including a resin layer and a metal layer that covers at least a part of one surface of the resin layer; and forming a through hole in the resin substrate by irradiating the resin substrate with pulsed laser light. In the forming of the through hole, an interval of irradiation of the pulsed laser light at each point on the resin substrate is 5 msec or more.
Abstract:
Laser ablation devices that utilize beam profiling assemblies to clean and process surfaces are described herein. A method includes directing a laser beam in a geometrical pattern at an arcuate surface of a cylindrical target, blocking a portion of the laser beam to prevent a portion of the geometrical pattern from contacting the cylindrical target, and rotating the cylindrical target as the laser beam contacts the arcuate surface so as to ablate the cylindrical target.
Abstract:
A system includes a focusing element configured to receive electromagnetic radiation coaxially and to focus the electromagnetic radiation to generate focused radiation. The system also includes a refracting element having an associated focal plane. The refracting element is configured to receive the focused radiation, and to refract the focused radiation to produce refracted radiation having an annular pattern at the focal plane. The system also includes a slit lamp having a receiving element to receive the refracted radiation.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Systems and methods for ablating or processing a surface using a laser beam are provided. A method includes directing a laser beam at a surface to form a contact area. The method also includes moving the contact area to form a contact curve. The method includes tuning a wavelength and a power of the laser beam to process a material and/or ablate a coating. The wavelength and the power may be further tuned to not damage the surface beneath the coating. Moving the contact area may include forming a second contact curve by superimposing, at a same time, the second contact curve on the contact curve. A system includes a laser and a directing arrangement configured to direct a laser beam from the laser at a surface to form a contact area. A non-transitory processor-readable medium having instructions stored thereon is provided.
