摘要： A camera in which light-sensing means is exposed to the light from an object to be photographed passed through stop means includes means for setting the aperture value of the stop means, means for driving the stop means in a direction in which the aperture value of the stop means is coincident with the aperture value by the setting means, prior to the exposure of the light-sensing means, metering means including a light-receiving element adapted to receive the light from the object passed through the stop means and produce an output corresponding to the intensity of the received light, the metering means producing a metering output corresponding to the brightness of the object on the basis of the output of the light-receiving element, means for controlling the exposure time of the light-sensing means in order that the light-sensing means may obtain a proper exposure, on the basis of the metering output after the stop means has been driven by the driving means, and discriminating means for discriminating, prior to the driving of the stop means, that the intensity of the light received by the light-receiving element after the termination of the driving of the stop means is lower than a predetermined value, on the basis of the metering output before the stop means is driven by the driving means, and putting out a discrimination signal.

摘要： In a flashlight emission system, apparatus for lighting a flash tube to illuminate an object and for controlling the quantity of emitted light from the flash tube, the apparatus being cooperative with a camera having structure for presetting ASA speed of film and aperture value of a taking lens prior to taking, there is provided a device for displaying the limit of object distance for providing an optimum exposure to the film comprising; apparatus for receiving information of the ASA speed and aperture value from the camera to make up first data corresponding to the received information; apparatus for making second data indicative of the limit of the quantity of emitted light controllable by the control apparatus; a device for calculating the limit of object distance from the first and second data and generating an output corresponding to the limit found out by the calculation; and apparatus for making a visual display of the limit of object distance in response to the output of the calculation device.

摘要： In a flash unit including a power source portion including a battery and a heavy current consuming source; a flash discharge tube adapted to produce flashlight by the current from the power source portion; flash output control means for metering the reflected flashlight from an object and stopping light emission of the flash discharge tube when a predetermined quantity of light is reached, thereby effecting flash output control operation; and means using the battery as a power source and indicating performance or non-performance of the flash output control operation, there is provided control means for limiting the operation of the heavy current consuming source of the power source portion for a predetermined period during the indication.

摘要： An indicator arrangement includes comparators for parallel comparison of an analog input voltage with digitalizing standard voltages to digitalize the input voltage and an indicator for indicating digitalized output. The arrangement is provided with a controller periodically switched between a first control state and a second control state. The controller in the first control state allows the comparators to perform comparison in a first voltage range of the analog input voltage while in the second control state it allows the comparators to perform comparison in a second voltage range of the analog input voltage.There is provided an encoder for coding the digitalized output of the comparators with a first coding mode in the first control state of the controller and coding the digitalized output of the comparators with a second coding mode in the second control state. The encoder is adapted to drive the indicator with a first or second mode according to the state of the controller.

摘要： A motor drive apparatus comprises phase switches adapted to assume a first state upon shutter release of a camera, to cause the film advancement to be started upon receipt of an exposure completion signal from the camera in the first state and to assume a second state upon completion of the film advancement to enable succeeding shutter release. A timer circuit is adapted to start counting time upon receipt of the exposure completion signal from the camera and to release a timer signal upon completion of counting after the lapse of a predetermined period. Release apparatus is adapted to generate a release signal during the second state of the phase switches and upon release of the timer signal from the timer circuit thereby causing the shutter release of camera to be started. The motor drive apparatus can avoid the influence of variation in the film advancing period in continuous photographing and achieve an always constant actual interval.

摘要： A metering device comprises a photoelectric converter circuit for generating a first voltage corresponding to the brightness of a subject to be photographed. The converter circuit includes a photoelectric converter element and a first conductor element for logarithmically converting the output of the photoelectric converter element. The device further comprises a voltage generating circuit including a second semiconductor element and a current source for flowing a current proportional to an absolute temperature to a resistor connected in series to the second semiconductor element. The voltage generating circuit is effective to generate a second voltage comprising the sum of the voltages generated in the resistor and the second conductor element. The difference beween the first and the second voltage is put out by a differential amplifier. A third voltage proportional to the absolute temperature is put out by a voltage generating circuit, and the third voltage and the output voltage of the differential amplifier are compared by a comparator circuit. Means is provided for equalizing the output voltage of the differential amplifier and the third voltage by the output of the comparator circuit.
