    摘要： A disk drive including a disk clamp for clamping one or more disks within the disk drive. The clamp is comprised of a dual member construction which provides a substantially uniform contact pressure at the circular line of contact between the clamp and the disk. The clamp includes an inner ring surrounding and fixedly attached to the hub of the disk drive. The inner ring preferably does not contact the disk. An outer ring is provided having a first portion underneath the inner ring and a second portion provided axially outward from the inner ring. The second portion of the outer ring contacts the disk in a substantially circular line of contact. The inner ring further includes a plurality of threaded holes, through which a plurality of set screws are provided. The screws, when sufficiently threaded through the holes, exert a pressure on the outer ring, which pressure is uniformly transmitted to the disks to secure the disks within the drive.

Edges of features in the scanned image are sensed, and the positions and shapes of the halftone dots that define corresponding edges in the halftone reproductions are adjusted so that they conform better to the feature edges. This reduces or eliminates the apparent serrations or roughness of feature edges in the halftone reproductions otherwise caused by misalignment of the halftone dots with the feature edges and improves image definition. The nesting tray is defined by blister nests on opposing sides of the same tray, so as to allow the user to flip over the nesting tray to dump a just-completed blister package, while simultaneously loading the nest on the opposing side of the tray for the sealing of a new blister package. In addition to being invertible, the nesting tray is slidable from a distal position to a sealing position (under the heating press plate) along a pair of parallel rails. Nesting trays are removable from the parallel rails so that they can be exchanged with nesting trays for forming blister packages of another configuration. By elimination of a rotating turntable of nesting trays, the Device provides a more compact blister packaging machine than was previously possible.

    摘要： Aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to facilitating peer-to-peer data exchange in a common domain. In accordance with one embodiment, a method is provided for obtaining content from one or more peers that are connected to the domain. The method includes registering a peer with a super-peer when a connection to the domain is established. Then, the connecting peer obtains data that describes various network conditions and identifies chunks of content available from other peers. In downloading content from other peers, heuristics are applied to select between available chunks that are potentially encoded at different bitrates. The heuristics account for the network conditions between peers and balance the potential need to quickly access content with the desire to obtain high quality content.
