Disclosed herein are a washing machine, which has an improved structure to increase the aesthetic appearance and emotional quality of a detergent container, and a drawer assembly of the washing machine. The washing machine includes a washing machine main body, a detergent container connected to the washing machine main body, a drawer panel provided on the detergent container and including a frame part having a predetermined thickness, and a handle defined within the frame part of the drawer panel.

A control panel and a washing machine, capable of providing an aesthetic external appearance and preventing characters or symbols which indicate control functions from being erased and preventing the characters or symbols from being displayed when the operation stops or the control functions are not used. The control panel includes a semi-transparent cover, a film disposed behind the semi-transparent cover and printed with a plurality of characters or symbols, a detecting panel disposed behind the film and having a plurality of detecting members detecting a capacitance of a human body, a circuit board having a light emitting unit irradiating light onto the film to display the characters or the symbols of the film on a rear surface of the semi-transparent cover, and a guide member having a plurality of optical paths guiding light irradiated from the light emitting unit into each of the characters or the symbols of the film.

A first source/drain region is in the substrate adjacent the pillar. A second source/drain region is disposed in an upper region of the pillar including the upper surface of the pillar. A contact pad contacts the entire upper surface of the pillar to electrically connect to the second source/drain region.

The apparatus includes a camera unit for photographing an image; a memory unit for storing the photographed image; a display unit for displaying an overlapped area during panoramic photographing; a guide unit for selecting an overlapped area from a previous image stored in the memory unit during the panoramic photographing to display the overlapped area into the display unit; and a merge unit for searching in an overlapped area of a current image an interval which is identical to a searching interval contained in the overlapped area of the previous image, and merging the previous image and the current image so that the searching interval and the identical interval overlap, and generating a merged image.
