A disk apparatus includes a pick-up for reading/writing signals from/on a disk; a pick-up base provided with the pick-up; a traverse motor for moving the pick-up in a radial direction of said disk; a feed screw rotated by the traverse motor and provided with a thread groove on its periphery; a rack having a fixing portion fixed to the pick-up base and a nut portion engaged with the thread groove; a guiding mechanism for guiding the pick-up movably in a radial direction of the disk; and a cantilever parallel spring for connecting the fixing portion to the nut portion of the rack, displaceably in a radial direction of the feed screw.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a recording/reproduction device that can perform post-record editing on a disk on which post-record editing has been determined to be impossible by conventional methods, and that can reproduce data that thus has been subjected to post-record editing, by devising a method for access in one cycle of repetitive processes of post-record editing. The recording/reproduction device is provided with a pick-up for recording or reproducing information and a control portion for controlling an operation of the pick-up, in which when reproduction is performed from an information recording medium on which in a separate area from a main sequence in which data blocks including original audio data and video data are recorded in succession, an additional sequence in which data blocks including post-record audio data are recorded in succession is formed, the control portion controls an operation of the pick-up in such a manner that the pick-up accesses the main sequence and the additional sequence alternately, and reproduces a plurality of data blocks in succession in each access.

An encryptor is provided for encrypting AV data sent from an interface. A controller controls recording of the encrypted AV data by controlling a recorder for recording the encrypted AV data in a magnetic disk. The recorder is controlled by the controller so as to reproduce the data recorded on the disk. A decrypter decrypts the reproduced data that is sent to the interface.

The present invention relates to 15-cycloalkyl-prostaglandins of the formula: ##STR1## wherein A represents a grouping of the formula: ##STR2## W represents ethylene or trans-vinylene, X represents ethylene or cis-vinylene, Y represents ethylene or trans-vinylene, R represents a hydrogen atom or a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group containing from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl or ethyl group, R.sup.2 represents a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group containing from 2 to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl group unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl group containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and n represents 4 or 5 and cyclodextrin clathrates of such acids and esters and, when R represents a hydrogen atom, non-toxic salts thereof.These new compounds exhibit characteristic prostaglandin-like activities.

A recording and reproduction apparatus includes a first decoding section for outputting first decoded data generated by decoding the first data; a second decoding section for outputting second decoded data generated by decoding the second data; and a control section for calculating a first time period, from a start point of a seek operation of the reading section from the read finish point of first data to the read start point of second data until the first decoding section completes output of the first decoded data, and a second time period, from the start point of the seek operation until the second decoded data is allowed to be output by the second decoding section; and comparing a length of the calculated first time period and a length of the calculated second time period.
