In a content move system for moving a content recorded on a storing part to a recording medium in a content-recording apparatus, a content-sending apparatus having the storing part, a content-recording apparatus, and a content-move controller for controlling the content-move operation conducted by the content-sending apparatus and the content-recording apparatus, are connected onto a 1394 bus. The content-move controller includes a move-source controlling part for managing the operation of the content-sending apparatus and a destination-controlling part for managing the operation of the content-recording apparatus. In a digital information reproducing apparatus, a digital signal having passed through a band-limited transmission system is waveform-shaped at a threshold level controlled to its optimal value so that the information can be properly read out. The apparatus includes a threshold level control circuit for controlling the threshold level to shape the waveform of the input signal. This threshold level control circuit has a first control circuit for controlling the threshold level with reference to a read clock extracted from the input signal, and a second control circuit for controlling the threshold level of a shaped signal which is obtained by waveform-shaping the input signal so that the DC component of the shaped signal becomes a predetermined value. The control of the threshold level is performed by cooperation of the first and second control circuits. The first control circuit is adapted to control the threshold level in accordance with a difference between the shaped signal obtained by waveform-shaping the input signal and the read-out signal obtained by synchronizing the shaped signal with the read clock. Thus, the threshold level for waveform-shaping a modulated channel code signal can be controlled optimally regardless of whether or not the modulation system is DC-free. The second control circuit serves to prevent a spurious lock of the first control circuit.

An encryptor is provided for encrypting AV data sent from an interface. A controller controls recording of the encrypted AV data by controlling a recorder for recording the encrypted AV data in a magnetic disk. The recorder is controlled by the controller so as to reproduce the data recorded on the disk. A decrypter decrypts the reproduced data that is sent to the interface.

An encryptor is provided for encrypting AV data sent from an interface. A controller controls recording of the encrypted AV data by controlling a recorder for recording the encrypted AV data in a magnetic disk. In a memory, temperature relation information representing a relation between an output value of a temperature sensor and a temperature of each of the plural areas is stored. A controller acquires the output value of the temperature sensor and estimates, based on the temperature relation information and the acquired output value, the temperature of each of the plural areas. According to this configuration, the temperature of each of the plural areas defined on the liquid crystal panel can be obtained with a small number of temperature sensors.
