Abstract: The application relates to a composition having improved dimensional stability and comprising an amorphous polyamide or a mixture of amorphous polyamides, and a semi-crystalline polyamide for which the average number of carbon atoms (C) relatively to the nitrogen atom (N) is greater than or equal to 8 or a mixture of semi-crystalline polyamides wherein the average number of carbon atoms (C) relatively to the nitrogen atom (N) of each of the semi-crystalline polyamides is greater than or equal to 8, to its preparation method and to its uses.

Abstract: The use of circular-section glass fibres in a mixture including at least one MXDZ polyamide, obtained from polycondensation of meta-xylylenediamine (MXD), with a C6 to C18 aliphatic (Z) dicarboxylic acid, and at least one aliphatic polyamide A obtained from the polycondensation of a unit selected from: a C6 to C12 lactam, a C6 to C12 amino acid, and an XY unit obtained from the polycondensation of a C4 to C18 aliphatic diamine (X), and a C6 to C18 aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (Y), circular-section glass fibres and optionally at least one impact modifier and/or at least one additive, said circular-section glass fibres and said mixture constituting a composition, said circular-section glass fibres being present from 30 to 75% by weight and with respect to the total weight of the composition, to improve the mechanical properties of said composition, including elongation at break, after processing, in particular by injection or compression moulding.

For example, selecting several initial compositions of solvent mixture E1 to Ey, carrying out a sorption measurement and a measurement of diffusion, discretizing said multilayer structure in space and time, estimating partial fluxes of each of the compounds of said composition of solvent mixture between each elementary slice of said multilayer structure, estimating on the one hand a maximal sorption ceiling of said downstream monolayer B and on the other hand the composition of solvent mixture at inlet of said downstream monolayer B, performing a mass balance from slice to slice as a function of time, adjusting the profile of concentrations, storing the concentration profiles and the partial fluxes obtained.
