    Abstract: Facilitating sidelink-based relaying and multi-connectivity in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise facilitating, by a first communications device comprising a memory and a processor, an establishment of multiple-connectivity for communication links between a second communications device and a third communications device. Facilitating the establishment of the multiple-connectivity for the communication links can comprise facilitating establishing a communication link between the second communications device and the third communications device. Facilitating the establishment of the multiple-connectivity for the communication links also can comprise facilitating establishing a first communication relay link between the second communications device and the first communications device and a second communication relay link between the first communications device and the third communications device.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the technology described herein are directed towards a generalized beam management framework in which beam management takes into account interference to steer a beam. Aspects comprise configuring a report request comprising a resource setting with channel state information-reference signal resource data and an associated report setting with parameter data corresponding to the one or more channel state information-reference signal resources. The report request is configured to instruct a user equipment device to include interference information when performing user equipment device beam management and reporting. Upon receiving the report request, the user equipment performs a beam measurement operation that includes interference information when generating the beam management report sent to the network device.

    Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for efficient configuration of demodulation reference signals in beamformed wireless communications systems. In an embodiment, the transmitter can signal the location of demodulation reference signals (DMRS) by including an indicator bit in downlink control information indicating which DMRS scheme is used in the transmission. A first DMRS scheme can let the user equipment (UE) device know that the DMRS position for the PDSCH carrying the RMSI is as signaled on the master information block (MIB)—referred to as PDSCH Mapping Type A. A second DMRS scheme can let the UE device know that the DMRS position for the PDSCH carrying the RMSI is the first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of said PDSCH allocation—referred to as PDSCH mapping type B).
