摘要: A pneumatic seed delivery system is provided, including a bin with a plenum at the bottom separated from the bin by a membrane to permit the upward flow of air from the plenum into the bin, and a tube extending through a side wall of the bin to provide fluid communication from an outer surface of the bin to an inner surface of the bin. One end of the tube is disposed inside the bin and adjacent to the screen, and a second open end of the first seed distribution tube is disposed outside the bin. In this manner, seed in the bin can be propelled up the tube by forcing air into the plenum, passing the air through the membrane and through seed located between the membrane and the first open end of the tube. This seed will then move up the tube and be carried to a remote location for use. This structure may also be provided by modifying a bin with an existing metering system removable through an opening in the bottom of the bin by removing a cover from the opening, removing the metering device, and inserting a device having plenum and tube structures into the opening.

摘要: A material transfer system including a first vehicle and a second vehicle. The first vehicle has a pressurized compartment maintaining a first air pressure therein. The ambient air outside of the pressurized compartment is at a second air pressure, with the first air pressure being different than the second air pressure thereby defining a pressure differential. The second vehicle has a material discharge device. The material discharge device is capable of delivering material to the first vehicle. The second vehicle having a reservoir for receiving the material. The material passing from the reservoir into the pressurized compartment without substantial loss of the pressure differential.

摘要: A seed sensor system determines the position of the seed relative to the seed tube as the seed passes the sensor. The position of the seed as well as the speed of the planter and the position of the seed tube above the planting furrow are used to calculate trajectory of the seed into the furrow from which the seed spacing is predicated. By sensing the seed in both X and Y directions in the seed tube, the sensor is better able to determine multiple seeds as well providing more precision to the seed population.

摘要: A bidirectional material source vehicle including a base unit and at least one material gathering device. The base unit is movable in a first travel direction and a generally opposite second travel direction. The at least one material gathering device is carried by the base unit. The at least one material gathering device is positioned at a first end of the base unit when the base unit is traveling in the first travel direction, and is positioned at a second end of the base unit when the base unit is traveling in the second travel direction.

摘要: An irrigation control valve has two movable members that can independently or in combination block the flow of water in a conduit, or be fully retracted of at some point in-between. A moisture sensitive element is arranged to be placed in contact with the soil and expands or retracts dependent on the moisture within soil adjacent the moisture sensitive element. The moisture sensitive element is connected or coupled to a moisture controlled member. Dependent on the moisture of the soil adjacent the moisture sensitive element, the moisture controlled member is moved further into the conduit with increasing moisture in the soil. The moisture controlled member and an electronically controlled member are located adjacent each other at the conduit. The electronically controlled member determines how far the moisture controlled member needs to move in order to fully block the flow of water in the conduit. An electronic controller is operable to determine the achieved level of moisture in the soil, by means of the electronically controlled actuator and the electronically controlled member.

摘要: A vehicle arrangement includes a tow vehicle and a towed vehicle. The towed vehicle includes at least two wheels and at least one motor, with each motor being coupled with a corresponding wheel. An indicator associated with an amount of material carried onboard the towed vehicle provides an output signal representing the amount of material. An electrical processing circuit is coupled with the indicator and actuates at least one motor, dependent upon the output signal.
