    Abstract: A gate drive circuit and a display panel are provided. The gate drive circuit controls, by adding a control module, the potential at a key node of an output module in a touch-control phase, that is, outputting a low-level signal of a signal switching end to a first node of the output module of the current-stage shift register in the touch-control phase, so as to stabilise the potential of the key node, i.e. the first node in the touch-control phase, thereby avoiding the case where the potential at the key node is in a floating state and thus is capacitively coupled and deviates from a stable potential; and a transition to a display stage before the touch-control state ends is made, and a high-level signal of the signal switching end is output to the first node, so as to pull up the potential at the first node.

    Abstract: A method for driving display panel and a driving device are disclosed. A transition period is inserted between displaying two neighboring frames, pixels in the nth row to the Nth row of the display panel are switched on simultaneously in the transition period, and a voltage with the highest grayscale is applied to the pixels which are switched on. This is equivalent to turning the grayscale of pixels in the nth row to the Nth row into the highest grayscale after displaying a frame and before displaying a next frame. This can improve the response time of pixels in the nth row to the Nth row during displaying the next frame, and thus can increase the display quality of the display panel.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dimming method for an LCD device. The LCD device includes a dimming screen and a display screen. The dimming screen is divided into N×M dimming areas, and the display screen is also divided into N×M display areas. N and M are respectively positive integers greater than or equal to 1. The dimming areas correspond to the display areas in a one-to-one relationship. The dimming method includes determining a regional eigenvalue of each of the dimming areas according to image data, determining a dimming brightness of each of the dimming areas according to each regional eigenvalue, and dimming each of the dimming areas according to each dimming brightness. The present disclosure also provides a dimming screen for use in the dimming method and an LCD device using the dimming method.
