    摘要: A liquid discharging head is configured including an element substrate and a flow path forming substrate which are joined. The element substrate includes a plurality of energy generating elements (electrothermal conversion elements) configured to generate thermal energy, and a supply port configured to supply liquid. The flow path forming substrate includes a plurality of discharging ports, a bubble generating chamber formed so as to include an energy generating element, and a supply path which connects the bubble generating chamber and the supply port. The upstream side of the discharging port in the direction of liquid flowing from the supply path to the bubble generating chamber, as viewed from a planar view, is formed in a semicircular shape, and the downstream side is formed in a semi-polygonal shape.

In an ejection orifice row formed by the first and the second ejection orifice rows, regarding the distances between the centers of ejection orifices in an arrangement direction of the ejection orifices on opening surfaces of the ejection orifices, the ejection orifices are formed so that a distance between the centers of two ejection orifices adjacent to each other with the connection portion in between is longer than a distance between the centers of two ejection orifices adjacent to each other without the connection portion in between.

    摘要: A print head and an ink jet printing apparatus are provided which can have smaller sizes if a print head is used which includes a substrate with a plurality of ejection port arrays and a substrate with ejection port arrays longer than the plurality of ejection port arrays. A drive circuit formed in a substrate is formed outside ejection port arrays in the substrate along the extending direction of the ejection port arrays. The drive circuit formed on an overlapping side of the substrate where the ejection port arrays overlap is formed to be longer, along the extending direction of the ejection port arrays, than a drive circuit formed on a side of the substrate which is opposite to the overlapping side. Furthermore, the ejection port arrays and the ejection port arrays overlap in the extending direction of ink supply ports, and the substrates are mounted on a support.

    摘要: A resin molding method includes a first molding step, a sliding step, a second molding step and a mold opening step. In the first molding step, first molded part supported in a fixed mold and a second molded part supported in a die slide mold are molded in different positions in a second direction. In the sliding step, the movable mold is removed in a first direction and the first molded part and the second molded part are aligned by the die slide mold is moved in the second direction. In the second molding step, the movable mold is clamped again with the fixed mold and resin is injected into engaged portions. Each of the first molded part and the second molded part includes at least one wall extending in the first direction, and in the second molding step, the first molded part and the second molded part are engaged with each other at sides of the walls extending in the first direction.

    摘要: A configuration of a liquid ejecting head enables a stable, continuous ink supply with the off-carriage method, even if a force operates in the direction of joint needle insertion and removal. To this end, a joint opening that accepts insertion of a joint needle on a printing apparatus side is placed at a position closer to a joint face between an ejecting head and a sub tank unit than a positioning opening that engages with a positioning member on the printing apparatus side. Consequently, even if external force is produced due to coupling, the force exerted on the joint face that is a weak portion of an inkjet head may be minimized.
