Abstract: The present disclosure provides a negative electrode active material, a battery and a device. The negative electrode active material comprises a first silicon oxide and a second silicon oxide, wherein, a ratio of a particle diameter Dn10 of the first silicon oxide to a particle diameter Dn10 of the second silicon oxide is 8˜25, the particle diameter Dn10 of the first silicon oxide is 1.0 μm˜5.0 μm, the particle diameter Dn10 of the second silicon oxide is 0.05 μm˜0.50 μm. By selecting two kinds of silicon oxides with specific ranges of Dn10 to match with each other, the present disclosure controls the thickness rebound of negative electrode plate, ensures good electrical contact between the negative electrode active material particles, in turn is beneficial to improve the cycle stability and the cycle-life of the battery.

Abstract: This application provides an electrolyte and a battery. The electrolyte comprises an electrolytic salt and an organic solvent comprising a cyclic carbonate and a chain carbonate. The electrolyte further comprises an additive A and an additive B, wherein the additive A is a positive-electrode film-forming additive, the additive B is a negative-electrode film-forming additive, and the reduction potential of the additive B is higher than that of the cyclic carbonate, and the electrolyte has a conductivity of 6 mS/cm to 10 mS/cm at 25° C. The electrolyte of the present application can improve the cycle performance and storage performance of the battery, in particular, improve the cycle performance and storage performance of the battery under high temperature and high voltage conditions, and at the same time balance the low-temperature performance of the battery.

Abstract: The present application discloses a composite graphite material and a method for preparing the same, a secondary battery, and an apparatus. The composite graphite material includes a core material and a coating layer that coats at least a portion of the surface of the core material, the core material including graphite, and the coating layer including a coating material containing a cyclic structure moiety, wherein the composite graphite material has a weight-loss rate of from 0.1% to 0.55% when the composite graphite material is heated in an atmosphere of an inert non-oxidative gas at a temperature rising from 40° C. to 800° C. The composite graphite material can enhance the gram capability and reduce the expansion rate of an electrode plate, and more preferably, can improve the cycle performance and kinetic performance of a battery as well.
