Abstract:
An auxiliary keyboard comprises an insulating board and a plurality of conductive keys. The insulating board has a sheet having a plurality of portions respectively defining a plurality of thru holes, a plurality of resilient supporting portions respectively connected to the sheet correspondingly arranged to the thru holes, and a plurality of combined portions respectively connected to the resilient supporting portions. The thickness of each combined portion is about 0.05 mm to 1 mm. Each conductive key is defined by a bonded portion and an exposed portion. The bonded portions of the conductive keys are respectively and seamlessly coupled to the combined portions, and the exposed portions are arranged to allow exposure from the insulating board. Thus, the conductive keys are firmly fixed on the insulating board by the connection between each conductive key and each combined portion. The instant disclosure also provides an auxiliary input device.

The frame includes a base, a first opening, and a second opening corresponding to the first opening. The base is located at the center of the frame near the second opening. The stator is disposed on the base of the frame. The rotor is disposed in the frame and coupled to the stator. The water-proof structure includes a protection cover and a seal ring. The protection cover is connected with the base, and the PCB is disposed in a closed space formed by the protection cover and the base. The protection cover has an annular wall and the seal ring is disposed around the outer surface of the annular wall of the protection cover.
Abstract:
The invention describes a digital photo frame which has a motion sensor module. The digital photo frame further comprises a microprocessor, a memory unit, and a display module. User can change photo images displayed by simply shaking the digital photo frame. Any acceleration movements, acceleration changes, gravity changes, tilt, shake, and position changes of the digital photo frame, are detected by the motion sensor module, and the motion sensor module generates signals to the microprocessor for further calculation and interpretation. The microprocessor will then change the displayed photo image to the next image or to the previous image according to the calculation result of the signals.
Abstract:
A motor-driven vehicle includes a driving system and a power supplying system. The driving system includes a motor for driving rotation of a wheel unit, and a generator for generating electric power in response to a mechanical rotary power output outputted by the motor. A control unit of the power supplying system provides electric power from one of first and second rechargeable batteries to the motor, and charges the other one of the first and second rechargeable batteries with the electric power from the generator. The control unit provides electric power from the other one of the first and second rechargeable batteries to the motor, and charges said one of the first and second rechargeable batteries upon detecting that residual power of said one of the first and second rechargeable batteries detected by a detector is less than a predetermined value.
Abstract:
The invention provides a multi-band antenna assembly comprising a connection conductor, a first resonant element, a second resonant element, and a parasitic resonant element. The first resonant element and the second resonant element are electrically connected with the connection conductor respectively. The parasitic resonant element and a grounding part of the connection conductor are grounded. The parasitic resonant element is disposed substantially parallel to the first resonant element, and therein a length of the parasitic resonant element is 15.2 mm˜25.2 mm. The multi-band antenna assembly can provide a working band containing GSM850/GSM900/DCS/PSC/UMTS, even 2.4 GHz or GPS.
Abstract:
Technologies for a transistor with a ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a transistor has a ferroelectric gate dielectric that is lattice matched to the channel of the transistor. In one embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization changes when voltage is applied and removed from a gate electrode, facilitating switching of the transistor at a lower applied voltage. In another embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization of a gate dielectric of a transistor changes when the voltage is past a positive threshold value or a negative threshold value. Such a transistor can be used as a one transistor memory cell.
Abstract:
A monopole antenna coupled to a metallic ground plane includes apertures used to steer a radio frequency (RF) beam of the monopole. The apertures may have a length, width, and distance from the monopole based on the wavelength of the RF signal used to drive the monopole antenna. The aperture may be coupled to one or more selective devices, such as PIN diodes, which may short portions of a metallic ground plane near the aperture. The shorted portions of the metallic ground plane provide for steering of the monopole radiation pattern. A circuit board metallic ground plane may include multiple apertures to direct different RF signal frequencies from a single monopole antenna. Multiple monopole antennas may be implemented over a metallic ground plane within a wireless device, each monopole antenna with corresponding apertures.
