Abstract:
A system for displaying images is disclosed. A display panel having a multi-domain pixel structure comprises a plurality of electrodes that are physically separated form one another, each defining a domain within pixel, and a capacitance element, electrically connecting the electrodes.
Abstract:
A system for displaying images. The system comprises a transflective liquid crystal display (LCD) panel comprising lower and upper substrates opposing each other and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween. The lower substrate comprises reflective and transmissive regions. A stack of a protective layer, a transparent electrode and a reflective electrode is disposed on the lower substrate of the reflective and transmissive regions. The reflective electrode comprises an opening corresponding to the transmissive region to substantially expose the underlying transparent electrode. A transparent dielectric layer is disposed on the surface of the upper substrate facing and corresponding to the lower substrate of the reflective region.
Abstract:
A secondary battery made by PCB (Printed Circuit Board) fabrication processes, the secondary battery including: a first via and a second via, wherein the first via is electrically connected to a positive pole of the secondary battery, and the second via is electrically connected to a negative pole of the secondary battery, the first via and second via of the secondary battery being electrically laminated over and connected to a first via and a second via of another second secondary battery, respectively, so as to constitute so as to form serial or parallel electrical connection between the secondary batteries.
Abstract:
A boss for securing a pair of mainboards includes a circular top and a plurality of first flexible legs. The first flexible legs are disposed on one side of the circular top and are separated from each other. Each of the first flexible legs includes a tilted wall and a pressing component. The tilted wall is formed on a surface of the first flexible leg that faces another first flexible leg. The pressing component is formed on one end of the first flexible leg away from the circular top. The tilted walls of all the first flexible legs cooperatively define a tapered channel. The tapered channel can be expanded.
Abstract:
Image display systems comprising a first pixel, a second pixel, a scan line, a first data line, and a second data line. In the first pixel, a first transistor is coupled to a first storage capacitor via a first pixel electrode. In the second pixel, a second transistor is coupled to a second storage capacitor via a second pixel electrode. The conductance of the first and second transistors is simultaneously controlled by a scan signal transmitted by the scan line. In a first time interval, the first data line transmits a voltage data to the first pixel electrode via the first transistor. In a second time interval, the second data line transmits the voltage data to the second pixel electrode via the second transistor. The first storage capacitor is designed to generate a proper feedthrough voltage at the first pixel electrode to compensate for a voltage coupling shift at the first pixel electrode that is generated during the second time interval because of the voltage variation at the second pixel electrode.
Abstract:
A method for processing an edge of a photovoltaic panel is described. A first electrically-conductive film, a photovoltaic film and a second electrically-conductive film are serially formed as a stack of three films over a surface of a substrate. An edge section of the stack of three films is removed from the surface of the substrate by sandblasting. At least two separate grooves are formed by laser scribing on all the three films adjacent to the removed edge section of the stack of three films.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device structure includes a first body, a connection plate, and a second body. The connection plate, pivoted to the first body, has an interworking assembly and a notch. The notch has a sliding portion and a positioning portion connected to each other. The second body has a sliding block pivoted to the interworking assembly and sliding in the sliding portion. The connection plate pivotally rotates to an open position with respect to the first body, and enables the interworking assembly to drive the second body to displace in a direction away from the first body. At this time, the sliding block slides into the positioning portion and pivotally rotates with respect to the interworking assembly, so as to drive the second body to rotate with respect to the interworking assembly.
