    Abstract: A battery pack and an apparatus, relating to the field of energy storage devices. The battery pack includes: a first box body, where the first box body includes a frame and a cross beam, the cross beam is disposed within the frame, and the cross beam has a hollow structure and is provided with an exhaust vent; a baffle plate, connected to the cross beam and sealing the exhaust vent; and a battery cell, accommodated in the first box body and including an explosion-proof valve, where the explosion-proof valve faces towards the baffle plate. The baffle plate is configured to exit a state of sealing the exhaust vent when the explosion-proof valve of the battery cell bursts.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of the present application relate to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes a plurality of battery cells, two insulating members and a binding strip. The insulating member includes a first face and a second face, the first face is located on a side face of the battery module, the second face is located on a bottom face of the battery module, and the two insulating members are respectively disposed on two sides of the battery module in a horizontal direction. The binding strip surrounds the plurality of battery cells and the insulating members.

    Abstract: A battery assembly includes a protection member and a battery module including at least two batteries arranged side by side along a first direction and having a first outer surface and a second outer surface opposite to each other along a second direction. The protection member is in the form of a letter U with two vertical portions having different lengths, wherein a first protection section covers the end covers of batteries in the battery module, a part of a second protection section covers the first outer surface, and a third protection section abuts against an end cover of a battery corresponding to the second outer surface. The protection member can prevent the airflow, the flame and the like sprayed during thermal runaway, and control a thermal diffusion range during thermal runaway.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a battery pack, comprising a first battery module, a second battery module, a housing and a fireproof member. The first battery module includes a plurality of battery cells which are provided with vents; the second battery module includes a plurality of battery cells which are provided with vents. Both the first battery module and the second battery module are arranged in the housing; the fireproof member is vertically disposed and located between the vents of the first battery module, where the vents of the first battery module and the vents of the second battery module both face the fireproof member. The battery pack prevents collective thermal runaway of the battery cells by using the fireproof member to separate the battery cells of the first battery modules and the battery cells of the second battery modules.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module comprises a plurality of battery cells and a fireproof member, wherein each of the plurality of battery cells is provided with a vent, and the vent faces the fireproof member; wherein the fireproof member includes a fireproof member body and a first extension connected to an upper end of the fireproof member; and/or a second extension connected to a lower end of the fireproof member. When thermal runaway occurs to the battery cells, flames and high temperature particles ejected out of the vent are blocked by the fireproof member body and the first extension and/or the second extension, thus preventing the ejected flames and high temperature particles from burning neighboring battery cells, and preventing the battery cells that has undergone thermal runaway from inducing thermal runaway of the neighboring battery cells opposite to the vents.
