Abstract:
A massage apparatus (10) capable of improving a sensation of stretching around a pelvic bone performs stretching around the pelvic bone of a user by arching, twisting (pivoting and bending to the side), and bending forward and back as airbags (20a, 20b) provided to a back rest (13) and airbags (21a, 21b) provided to a seat (12) operate together with a mutual time difference.
Abstract:
The image forming apparatus includes first and second reading portions which read images of first and second faces of an original, an image forming portion which forms an image on a sheet based on image data read by the reading portions, a calculation portion which calculates difference between respective image data, a correction portion which calculates correction data to decrease difference of the image data based on the image data difference, and a control portion which controls the image forming portion so that an image for correction to correct the reading accuracy difference is formed on a sheet based on the correction data; and the calculation portion calculates difference between respective image data when the image for correction formed on a sheet is respectively read by the first and second reading portions, and the correction portion recalculates correction data based on the image data difference calculated by the calculation portion.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus which is capable of preventing images read from a double-sided original from suffering an in-surface color irregularity on each of images read from the respective opposite sides of a double-sided original and a color difference between the front and reverse. A CCD line sensor reads a front-side original image. An image processing ASIC calculates shading correction data for performing shading correction on original image data read from the original image by the CCD line sensor, based on read luminance values obtained by the CCD line sensor by reading a plurality of halftone gradation patches thereon on a correction chart. The shading correction data calculated by the image processing ASIC is corrected based on read luminance values associated, respectively, with at least two of the gradation patches.
Abstract:
An optical filter is provided on photoelectric conversion elements for monochrome reading. Each of a reflecting optical system and the optical filter has an end portion and a central portion in a predetermined direction. The optical filter suppresses light at a peak wavelength of a light source such that a difference between a sensitivity of optical path via the end portion of the reflecting optical system and the optical filter and a sensitivity of optical path via the central portion of the reflecting optical system and the optical filter fall within a range of 5% at the peak wavelength of light source.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes a light source which irradiates an original with light, an imaging unit which images by condensing reflected and scattered light from the original via a plurality of reflecting mirrors and imaging mirrors, and a photoelectric conversion unit which converts, into an electrical signal, the reflected and scattered light imaged by the imaging unit. The imaging unit is an imaging optical system which is adjusted such that the difference between the spectral characteristic at an end portion in the main-scanning direction of the image reading apparatus and that at the central portion in the main-scanning direction becomes 5% or less at the peak wavelength of the light source.
Abstract:
Gains and offsets of the input-output characteristic of a second side reading unit are controlled so as to match input-output characteristic of a first side reading unit on the basis of image data of a gray chart read by the first side reading unit and the second side reading unit. Then, on the basis of image data of a color chart read by the first side reading unit and the second side reading unit, offsets of the input-output characteristic of the second side reading unit are controlled for individual color components such that differences between color read by the first side reading unit and color read by the second side reading unit are reduced.
