    摘要： A roof scuttle safety railing system is provided for an existing or new roof scuttle which railing may be installed on the roof scuttle by unskilled labor without compromising the integrity of the weather seal of the roof scuttle. In one embodiment, pivotal corner brackets are secured to the capflashing of a roof scuttle with the vertical members of the safety railing being inserted in openings in the brackets. In another embodiment, an elongated bracket is used along two opposed sides of the roof scuttle which brackets are firmly held against the outside walls of the roof scuttle by tie rods, a strap or a cable. The elongated bracket has vertical openings at its distal ends for securing the vertical members of the safety railing and horizontal openings or slots for the tie rods, straps or cables. A hinged gate is also provided which preferably has a self-closing hinge.

    摘要： By providing a plurality of cooperating, foldable panel members in combination with a plurality of foldable wheel assemblies, a unique wagon or cart construction is attained which is capable of being folded into a small, compact area, whenever desired, and then quickly and easily deployed into a fully erected and operational position, which enables virtually any desired object to be easily transported. In addition, in the preferred construction of this invention, an automatically deployed structural supporting member is incorporated into the wagon/cart for providing inherent strength and rigidity to the wagon/cart when fully erected. In this way, heavy objects previously incapable of being transported are capable of being accommodated with ease.

    摘要： A tape dispensing apparatus comprising a frame, a feeding mechanism, and a wetting system. The frame has a storage area for storing tape therein. The frame also has an exit area through which tape is dispensed. The feeding mechanism is connected to the frame. The feeding mechanism feeds the tape from the storage area to the exit area. The wetting system is connected to the frame for wetting a side of the tape, and activating a moisture activated adhesive on the side of the tape. The wetting system comprises a wetting head mounted to the frame. The wetting head has a moisture releasing portion. The wetting head wets the moisture activated adhesive on the side of the tape without contact between the side of the tape and the moisture releasing portion of the wetting head.

    摘要： A sealing assembly for sealing an envelope having a first lateral side and a second lateral side includes a support roller. The envelope includes (1) a first enclosure sheet having a first pressure sensitive adhesive thereon, and (2) a second enclosure sheet having a second pressure sensitive adhesive thereon. The sealing assembly also includes a sealing member which is movable between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The first pressure sensitive adhesive is urged into contact with the second pressure sensitive adhesive by interaction between the sealing member and the support roller when the sealing member is moved between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. A method of sealing an envelope having a first lateral side and a second lateral in a document security apparatus is also disclosed.

    摘要： By providing position control means cooperatively associated with a support pad with said control means being constructed for arcuately moving the support pad in response to activation by the user, with the position control means and pad peripherally surrounded by a cover, a unique, portable, self-contained, unitary, movably adjustable support assembly is attained whereby individuals are able to position the support pad in any desired location or on any surface while also being able to automatically raise and/or lower the support pad to any position for comfort and support. In the preferred embodiment, the movably adjustable support assembly is constructed with expandable shroud means integrally connected with the cover in association with the position control means for expanding in response to the arcuate movement of the position control means while being automatically retracted into a folded configuration when the control means are returned to its original position. In addition, the present invention incorporates a single air flow control assembly which is capable of directly controlling two separate and independent movably adjustable support assemblies, each of which employ separate control means. In this way, individuals with queen or king sized beds are able to employ two separate and independent movably adjustable support assemblies on the single bed for separate and independent control, while employing a single air flow control assembly.
