摘要: A communication system to which can be applied a site diversity procedure in which different transmitting stations are not synchronized with one another, and signals from plural transmitting stations are received simultaneously. The timing shift produced when signals from plural transmitting stations are received simultaneously is received by a receiving side (S101). When the timing shift has exceeded an allowable range, the communication with the transmitting station is transiently halted (S102 to S106) and, after adjusting the timing on the transmitting side, communication is re-started (S107 to S112) so that the signal reception timings from different base stations will be within an allowable range at all times.

摘要: The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus and a communication apparatus for accurately recognizing at the base station the current receiving quality of the mobile terminals for improving the throughput of the base station. A mobile terminal 61 determines its own receiving quality based on the signal received from the base station 62 for generating the receiving quality message indicating the receiving quality and generates the power control information requesting the transmission power of the base station 62. The receiving quality message is transmitted at a frame rate and power control information is transmitted at the slot rate to the base station 62. Based on both the receiving quality message and power control information, the base station 62 estimates the current receiving quality of the mobile terminal 61 and adaptive modulation and coding is performed based on the estimated value. The present invention may be applied to cellular phones and base stations.

摘要: The mobile communication terminal of the present invention comprises an amplitude regulator 3 regulating the amplitudes of signals of the DPDCH, DPCCH, and HS-DPCCH, a transmission-power controller 17 controlling the power-distribution ratio for the adjustment of transmission power of the individual transmission channels, and a priority-channel selector 18 choosing a priority channel from among the individual transmission channels. If the total transmission power of the individual transmission channels is going to exceed the maximum transmission power, the transmission-power controller 17 determines the power-distribution ratio among the individual transmission channels by adjusting the transmission power of the priority transmission channel to a power level demanded by a base station on the one hand and adjusting the transmission power of the non-priority channel so as to confine the total transmission power to the maximum transmission power on the other hand. Accordingly, the base station can receive information correctly even if the transmission power demanded by the base station is beyond the maximum transmission power of the mobile communication terminal.

摘要: Radio resources are saved, and power consumption is reduced. A base station 101 carries out training for obtaining correlation information that correlates the reception quality of a packet channel transmitted from a terminal 102 and the transmission power of an associated channel, and based on the correlation information, uses the transmission power of the associated channel to obtain a predicted value of the reception quality of the packet channel, and controls the transmission of data through the packet channel based on that predicted value. In addition, the base station 101 transmits through the associated channel transmission control information for controlling the transmission of the reception quality of the packet channel by the terminal 102. The terminal 102 controls the transmission of the reception quality of the packet channel based on the transmission control information included in the data of the associated channel transmitted from the base station 101. The present invention can be applied to, for example, a communications system of a W-CDMA system.

摘要: For the CELP (Code Excited Linear Prediction) coding of an input audio signal, an autocorrelation matrix, a speech/noise decision signal and a vocal tract prediction coefficient are fed to an adjusting section. In response, the adjusting section computes a new autocorrelation matrix based on the combination of the autocorrelation matrix of the current frame and that of a past period determined to be a noise. The new autocorrelation matrix is fed to an LPC (Linear Prediction Coding) analyzing section. The analyzing section computes a vocal tract prediction coefficient based on the autocorrelation matrix and delivers it to a prediction gain computing section. At the same time, in response to the above new autocorrelation matrix, the analyzing section computes an optimal vocal tract prediction coefficient by correcting the vocal tract prediction coefficient. The optimal vocal tract prediction coefficient is fed to a synthesis filter.

摘要: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus for allowing stereoscopic visualization on X-ray images of an object under examination includes at least a stereoscopic X-ray tube, a deflection coil type X-ray image intensifier, and a single television camera. The right-viewed and left-viewed X-ray visual images are alternately output from the image intensifier with a given deviation between centers of those images. Those visual images are alternately incident upon the respective image conversion regions of the TV camera, whereby the electrical scanning is also done alternately for each of the image conversion regions so as to prevent the after-image effect.
