摘要: Modulating and optimizing operation parameters such as power usage of wireless networks include determining a baseline reference level for a network demand at a base station in a network during a first time interval. The transmission power of the base station corresponding to the baseline reference level is determined, and the network demand at the base station in the network is forecasted during a second time interval. A difference between the projected network demand and the baseline reference level at the second time is determined. The transmission power of the base station is adjusted by a predetermined increment during the second time interval based at least on the difference.

摘要: Methods to infer user behavior are disclosed comprising a process of predefining one or more activities for a user application, providing a processor based device and user interface configured to operate with the device to support the user with tasks using the user application, the user application communicating an intent message to a transformative power management (TPM) application and the TPM configured to define and output an instruction for the application given the intention and the predefined activities. In some embodiments, the methods are implemented on a processor based device. In some embodiments, the systems and methods apply pattern recognition algorithms and pattern learning algorithms to manage the power allocation to power consuming devices.

摘要: A mobile device that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, obtaining performance characteristics for network segments of a network where the network segments are selected from a group of network segments of the network based on a trajectory of the mobile device. The mobile device can monitor power state transitions of the mobile device, and can predict a future power state of the mobile device based on the monitoring of the power state transitions. The mobile device can determine a target time for sending a request for transmission of a data packet over the network where the target time is determined based on the performance characteristics for the network segments and based on the future power state of the mobile device. The mobile device can schedule a time for sending the request for transmission according to the target time. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Methods of operation and systems are described for node communication within a hierarchical wireless node network having a plurality of ID nodes on a first level, a master node on a second level, and a server at a third level. A first of the ID nodes associates with the master node. The first ID node cannot self-determine its location while the master node is adapted to self-determine its location via location circuitry. The first ID node captures relevant node information, such as profile data, security data, association data, shared data, and/or sensor data. The relevant node information may be captured from another ID node. The first ID node begins operating in a pseudo master node mode so that it can transmit the relevant node information to the server without using the master node as an intermediary to the server.

摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus determines an interference type between a time division duplex (TDD) configuration subframe of a serving cell and a corresponding TDD configuration subframe of a neighboring cell, and sets a transmit power for an apparatus in the serving cell based on the interference type. The apparatus in the serving cell may be a user equipment (UE), in which case the apparatus applies a set of uplink (UL) open loop power control parameters for the UE. The apparatus in the serving cell may be a base station (eNB), in which case a DL transmit power is set for the eNB. Depending on the interference type, the DL transmit power may be a fixed, full power DL transmission or an adjusted DL transmission.
