摘要: The present invention provides a MIMO transmitter and a MIMO receiver, used in SC-FDMA system, which make interchanging for multiple paths of modulated symbol sequences in order to acquire diversity gain while ensure PAPR of single antenna. MIMO transmitter interchanges partial symbols of at least one error-correction codeword of at least one of the multipath modulated symbol sequences and partial symbols of at least one error-correction codeword of at least one of the other of the multipath modulated symbol sequences so as to obtain interchanged multipath modulated symbol sequences; MIMO receiver executes inverse-interchanging which is inverse to the interchanging in a MIMO transmitter for multipath interchanged signals received from multiple transmitting antennas. The present invention could reduce the BLER of the entire SC-FDMA system, and obtain diversity gain while ensure PAPR of single antenna.

摘要: Binary data signal multi-line interval encoding and decoding arrangements supporting high speed data communications consistent with certain embodiments produce a signal having a plurality of pulses with a minimum pulse duration of T. The pulses are arranged in a signal pattern selected as one of M possible signal patterns of L bits transmitted over N time intervals, with each time interval being of T seconds in duration, to represent one of M possible message sequence, where M>2N. The plurality of pulses have transitions that occur at times falling between the boundaries of the time interval T. Embodiments may be implemented in hardware, with a computer executing a software program within, or with both. This abstract is not to be considered limiting, since other embodiments may deviate from the features described in this abstract.

摘要: The present invention provides a polymer composite membrane having a polymer membrane and a poly(furfuryl alcohol) filling internal pores of the polymer membrane. The polymer composite membrane can have a high proton conductivity and/or a reduced methanol permeability and can be used in fuel cells, electrochemical sensor, and the like. The present invention also provides a method of making a polymer composite membrane, by providing a perfluorosulfonic polymer member, subjecting the perfluorosulfonic polymer member to a furan-based monomer, and polymerizing the furan-based monomer to obtain a polymer composite membrane having a high proton conductivity and/or a reduced methanol permeability.

摘要: A method for reversibly, or irreversibly, altering the permeability of cells, tissues or other biological barriers, to molecules to be transported into or through these materials, through the application of acoustic energy, is enhanced by applying the ultrasound in combination with devices for monitoring and/or implementing feedback controls. The acoustic energy is applied directly or indirectly to the cells or tissue whose permeability is to be altered, at a frequency and intensity appropriate to alter the permeability to achieve the desired effect, such as the transport of endogenous or exogenous molecules and/or fluid, for drug delivery, measurement of analyte, removal of fluid, alteration of cell or tissue viability or alteration of structure of materials such as kidney or gall bladder stones. In the preferred embodiment, the method includes measuring the strength of the acoustic field applied to the cell or tissue at the applied frequency or other frequencies, and using the acoustic measurement to modify continued or subsequent application of acoustic energy to the cell or tissue. In another preferred embodiment, the method further includes simultaneously, previously, or subsequently exposing the cell or tissue to the chemical or biological agent to be transported into or across the cell or tissue. In another preferred application, the method includes removing biological fluid or molecules from the cells or tissue simultaneously, previously or subsequently to the application of acoustic energy and, optionally, assaying the biological fluid or molecules.

摘要: This invention relates to virally-immortalized hepatocyte cell lines, which are derived from a normal primary human liver cell, have the ability to proliferate in a serum-free media, are nontumorigenic, and produce proteins. These cell lines can be used for toxicity testing of potential therapeutic drugs and chemical entities. The cell lines may also be used for the production of therapeutic plasma proteins.
