    摘要: A gas-mixing system for anaesthetic apparatuses has a vaporizer unit for liquid anaesthetic, a first gas line carrying a specific first flow of gas to the vaporizer unit, and a second gas line carrying a second flow of gas past the vaporizer unit. The first gas flow and the second gas flow jointly constitute a total flow of respiratory gas. A first flow regulator is arranged to regulate total flow, and a second flow regulator is arranged to regulate the second flow according to the difference between total flow and a reference value for the first flow.

    摘要: A safety system is provided for anesthetic systems with at least two anesthetic vaporizers, the safety system preventing the simultaneous supply of anesthetic to a breathing circuit by more than one anesthetic vaporizer. The safety system which prevents this includes a setting means for each vaporizer which emits an activation signal when moved from an OFF position to an active position. The activation signal is received by a control unit which then sends a control signal to blocking valves, respectively arranged by the anesthetic vaporizers, and prevents the passage of breathing gas to more than one anesthetic vaporizer for vaporization of an anesthetic.

    摘要: An inspiratory tube intended to serve as at least part of an inspiratory line in a ventilator, has a tube wall, a distal end, a proximal end, a gas flow channel for carrying a flow of breathing gas and an opening in the wall at a specific distance from one end of the inspiratory tube, this opening being adapted for connection to an expiratory device (40). The inspiratory tube has a constriction in the gas flow channel between distal end of the inspiratory tube and the opening, a first channel that proceeds within the tube wall, generally parallel to the gas flow channel, and which opens into the gas flow channel between the distal end of the inspiratory tube and the constriction, and a second channel that proceeds within the wall, generally parallel to the gas flow channel, which opens into the gas flow channel between the constriction and the opening. The channels can be connected to a pressure gauge for determining the rate of flow and pressure of gas flowing in the gas flow channel.

    摘要: An anesthetic apparatus has a dosing unit for an anesthetic agent, the dosing unit having a number of containers, each holding a liquid anesthetic agent. The containers are connected by liquid lines to a valve unit, capable of selectively connecting one container at a time to a micropump which dispenses anesthetic in the form of liquid droplets directly to a connection piece in the anesthetic apparatus, to which a patient can be connected. A control unit controls the micropump and the valve unit and regulates both the selection and dispensing of liquid anesthetic.

    摘要: A ventilator system and a tracheal tube, inserted into a patient's trachea to carry gas to and from the lungs, permit a gas mixture containing endogenous NO, which is present in the upper respiratory tract, to be supplied to the lungs. The tracheal tube has a input port which forms a connection between the interior of the tracheal tube and the upper respiratory tract. The input port draws or forces an amount of the gas containing endogenous NO into the tracheal tube and this gas accompanies the respiratory gas into the lungs during inspiration.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for reuse of anesthetics in inhalation anesthesia is described. In the method, fresh gas is mixed with highly concentrated anesthetic from an anesthetics evaporator (3) in a collector conduit (1) leading into and out of a patient, in such a way that, when the patient exhales, the exhalation gas is passed through an adsorption filter (5) disposed in the ingoing and outgoing collector conduit (1) and arranged distally relative to the outlet (4) from the anesthetics evaporator (3), as seen from the patient (2), the anesthetic not absorbed by the patient being adsorbed by an adsorption material (6) in the adsorption filter (5), while the rest of the exhalation gas leaves the apparatus, the adsorbed anesthetic being desorbed from the adsorption material (6) when the patient inhales and retransferred to the patient.
