Abstract: In some examples, a power adapter for sharing redundant power comprises a primary power input; a redundant power input; a redundant power supply identification signal (RPS ID) input; and a controller coupled to the RPS ID input. The controller is to direct power from the primary power input to an electronic device; direct power from the redundant power input to the electronic device, to another power adapter, or both; modify an RPS ID from the RPS ID input in response to directing power from the redundant power input to the electronic device; and output the modified RPS ID to the another power adapter.

Abstract: Examples associated with boot authentication are described. One example includes initiating a power on self-test (POST) phase of a boot of a system. Prior to initiating a driver execution environment phase of the POST phase, a network stack may be loaded for a network port. An encrypted key may be retrieved from a trusted component of the system. Boot of the system may be permitted to proceed upon establishing a connection with an authentication server, and authenticating the system to the authentication server based on the encrypted key.

Abstract: In an example, radio frequency identification communications is used to pair a wireless device and a host computing system for communications over a non-radio frequency identification communications protocol. The wireless device includes a radio frequency identification reader that extracts pairing information from a radio frequency identification tag of the host computing system. The wireless device may then automatically initiate pairing with the host computing system using the pairing information, without further input from a user of the wireless device. A connection is then established between the wireless device and the host computing system using a non-radio frequency identification wireless communication protocol. The connection facilitates an exchange of data between the wireless device and the host computing system.
