摘要: A one-motion grommet (10) has opposite front and rear small-diameter tubes (11, 12) and a widened tube (13) therebetween. The front small diameter tube (11) is dimensioned to pass into a through hole (9) in a body panel (8). A cut-away portion (15) extends forward from the rear end of the widened tube (13). The widened tube (13) is branched into an outer tube (13c) and an inner tube (13d) that is continuous with the second small-diameter tube (12). Front and rear walls (16a; 16b) project from the outer circumferential surface of a portion of the outer tube (13c) located more backward than the forward end of the cut-away portion (15) and are opposed to each other to form a body locking recess (16). The front end of the cut-away portion (15) is located more radially inward than the base end of the front wall (16a), and an opening side of the cut-away portion (15) is located radially inwardly of the rear wall (16b).

摘要: A multiplexing optical system necessary for transforming input information into effective feature vectors at high speed and with high accuracy, without loss of a spatial frequency component of multiplexed object vector information, for example. Also presented are a feature vector transformation apparatus using the multiplexing optical system, and others. The multiplexing optical system performs a Fourier transform in parallel on multiplexed vector information lying in an input plane (R) as an object to be processed. The system includes a Fourier transform lens (30) for performing a Fourier transform in parallel, and satisfies the condition of (k.sub.R .lambda.f.sub.F /a

摘要: In an optically scanning displacement detector for determination of an object's profile, the detector comprises a light projecting unit for radiating a light beam on the object, a light receiving unit for receiving a reflected light beam from the object to output an object position signal, and a distance determining unit for determining a distance between the projecting unit and the object in accordance with the object position signal. The light projecting and receiving units are mounted in a carrier which is movably supported to a frame. The carrier can be moved in a scanning direction to scan the light beam across the object by the use of an electric motor such as a voice-coil linear motor. Since the present detector does not use a scanning mirror for deviating the light beam, the object's profile can be determined with improved accuracy of measurement, while preventing a formation of dead space in which the light beam can not be radiated during the scanning operation. The detector also comprises a carrier position sensor for determining a position of the carrier in the scanning direction, and a safeguard unit for sensing unusual operation of the motor to generate a stop signal, and stopping a supply of electric current to the motor in response to the stop signal.

摘要: A recursive neural net including processing elements (1) each having a linear saturated function as an input/output function. The elements (1) are divided into a plurality of blocks (2), and the states of the elements (1) are asynchronously updated block by block while being synchronously updated within each block (2). Since convergence is ensured for any symmetric synaptic matrix (W) by selecting a step-size for each particular problem, the neural net can be applied to any optimization problem. In addition, a neural net system is composed of an optical computing unit (201 to 205) performing a vector matrix calculation using light, a threshold processing unit (206) performing a threshold processing operation, a coefficient multiplying unit (209) performing a step-size processing operation, a saturated linear computing unit (207) performing a saturated linear function operation, and a block control unit (208) performing selection of a block to be updated and state updating therefor.

摘要: A spread spectrum receiver has first and second correlators which each compare a received signal with a respective reference signal. The output of each correlator is routed through a respective band pass filter and a respective AGC amplifier to a respective detector circuit which converts the output of the amplifier into a respective base band signal. The ouput of each detector circuit is supplied to a respective peak value detecting and holding section, which detects and holds for a predetermined time period peak values from the associated detector circuit. Each peak value detecting and holding circuit supplies the peak value currently held therein through a respective low pass filter which serves as an integrator to a data comparing section and to an adding section. The adding section adds the two peak values, and supplies the sum to control inputs of each of the AGC amplifiers for purposes of gain control. The data comparing circuit compares the peak values and produces an output which is demodulated data from the received signal.
