    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure include a channel access method in a wireless local area network (WLAN) and related apparatus. In the method, a communication device receives a first overlapping basic service set (OBSS) frame on a primary channel, determines a first channel with a busy channel state based on bandwidth information carried in the first OBSS frame, and performs channel contention when switching from the primary channel to a second channel. After the communication device backs off to 0 on the second channel, the communication device determines a third channel used for transmitting data, where the third channel does not include any sub-channel of the first channel, and the first channel includes the primary channel.

    Abstract: This application provides a method for transmitting a wake-up packet in a communications system and a device. The communications system includes a transmit end device and a receive end device. The receive end device includes a wake-up receiver and a main transceiver. The method includes: sending, by the transmit end device, a first wake-up packet WUP to the wake-up receiver by using a first data rate; determining, by the transmit end device, a second data rate; and sending, by the transmit end device, a second WUP to the wake-up receiver by using the second data rate. The transmit end device can determine a proper data rate for sending a wake-up packet based on a specific transmission condition in a communication process, thereby improving transmission efficiency of the wake-up packet.

In response to the BSS configuration of the second link not being updated, the first MLD directly transmits a data frame on the switched-to second link or the second link whose status is transited, and the data frame is not transmitted until a beacon frame is received and a latest parameter of the BSS configuration is obtained on the switched-to second link or the second link whose status is transited. A waiting time occurring before the data frame is transmitted is reduced.

    Abstract: A method for coordinated communication and an apparatus for coordinated communication are provided. The method includes: a first access point (AP) sends an announcement message and/or a polling message to one or more second APs. The announcement message announces that the first AP may share a time resource of the first AP. The announcement message may further include identifier information that indicates the one or more second APs, and time information that indicate communication or channel contention of the one or more second APs in the time resource shared by the first AP. The polling message may be used to notify a second AP to start to use, at a preset time, a channel resource shared by the first AP with the second AP for communication or start channel contention at the preset time.
