Abstract: Methods and apparatus to provide accident avoidance information to passengers of autonomous vehicles are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a safety analyzer to determine an autonomously controlled vehicle is in a safe situation at a first point in time and in a dangerous situation at a second point in time. The example apparatus also includes a user interface generator to: generate user interface data to define content for a user interface to be displayed via a screen, the user interface to include a graphical representation of the vehicle, the user interface to graphically indicate the vehicle is in the safe situation at the first point in time; and modify the user interface data so that the user interface graphically indicates the vehicle is in the dangerous situation at the second point in time.

Abstract: Technologies for intelligent traffic optimization include a directional flow server that receives dynamic traffic data from traffic infrastructure devices in a monitored region. The traffic data may include traffic volume data and traffic control status data. The server updates a dynamic layer of a high-definition map based on the dynamic traffic data. The high-definition map also includes a static layer and a directional flow layer. The server optimizes the directional flow in response to updating the dynamic layer. The directional flow layer is indicative of traffic direction associated with roads in the monitored region. The server may optimize each of several sub-regions and then optimize connection roads between the regions. The server may distribute the optimized directional flow layer to consumers such as traffic control devices, autonomous vehicles, and other subscribing devices. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that generates a series of time-stamped object graphs based on object trajectory histories derived from external object data for a plurality of external objects, such as vehicles. The technology may also generate, via a first neural network such as a graph attention network, a series of relational object representations based on the series of time-stamped object graphs, and determine, via a second neural network such as a long short-term memory network, predicted object trajectories for the plurality of external objects based on the series of relational object representations. The technology may also modify behavior of an autonomous vehicle based on the predicted object trajectories and real-time perceptual error information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting rogue vehicles within a plurality of vehicles connected via a vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) are provided. Sensors on each VANET vehicle provide host vehicle data and data associated with other nearby vehicles. Each VANET vehicle multicasts information that includes location, velocity, and preferred future travel path to the other VANET vehicles. Using data from sensors and data received from other VANET vehicles the host vehicle generates a dynamic set of safe vehicle operating behaviors. Nearby vehicles that do not comply with the determined safe vehicle operating behaviors or perform illegal/unsafe acts are identified as rogue vehicles. Data associated with identified rogue vehicles is transmitted to all VANET vehicles. Each VANET vehicle determines a preferred future travel path based on the received information associated with rogue vehicles, the preferred future travel path information received from other VANET vehicles, and the host vehicle's safe vehicle operating behaviors.
