摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture for digital twin aided resiliency are disclosed. An example method includes accessing operational statistics corresponding to one or more physical entities, the one or more physical entities including user equipment and network equipment; updating one or more virtual entities within a virtual environment that correspond, respectively, to the one or more physical entities with the operational statistics; simulating a change to the virtual environment based on the operational statistics; generating a recommendation for the network equipment to perform a task based on the simulated change; and in response to determining a confidence of the recommendation meets a threshold confidence, provide the recommendation to the network equipment.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for sharing information among multiple Mobility as a Service (MaaS) systems for presenting service information to users. One system includes means for receiving, by a multi-access edge computing (MEC) application, parameters of a global quality of service (QoS) prediction model, and means for sending, to a local prediction function (PF), an update of a local QoS prediction model. Further, the system includes means for detecting a journey of a vehicle requested by a user, and means for sending to the local PF, a request for a value of the QoS along the journey. The value of the QoS is a measure of quality of transportation services delivered during the journey. The system further includes means for receiving the predicted value of the QoS along the journey, and means for providing, by the MEC application, the predicted value of the QoS to the vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed embodiments include technologies for managing co-existence among multiple Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Radio Access Technologies (RATs) through the setting of a Network Allocation Vector (NAV). MAC layer frame headers contain a duration field that specifies a transmission interval during which a shared channel will be occupied by a particular V2X RAT. The NAV indicates the time period intended to be held for the particular V2X RAT, and acts as an indication for how long stations implementing different V2X RATs must abstain from accessing the shared medium. Stations listen on the shared medium to obtain the MAC layer frame, read the duration field, and set their NAV indicators accordingly. Other embodiments are described and/or claimed.

摘要: A computing node in an edge computing network includes a network interface card (NIC), memory storing a plurality of digital object representations of a corresponding plurality of participating entities, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry detects a message from a participating entity of the plurality. The message is received via the NIC and is associated with a messaging service of the edge computing network. The message is mapped to a service class of a plurality of available service classes based on a service request associated with the message. The message is processed to extract one or more characteristics of the service request. A digital object representation of the plurality of digital object representations is updated based on the one or more characteristics of the service request, the digital object representation corresponding to the participating entity.

摘要: The present disclosure is related to connected vehicles, computer-assisted and/or autonomous driving vehicles, Internet of Vehicles (IoV), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technologies, and in particular, to enhanced decentralized environment notification (DEN) services and safety metrics based pre-crash warning for DEN messages (DENMs). The enhanced DEN services include mechanisms to alert road users of detected dangerous events due to safety metric violations, which are calculated based on sensor data/measurements. Safety metric-specific attributes are included in the DENM á la-carte container to carry the safety metrics violation to the neighboring stations. Additionally, the DENM situation container is also enhanced/expanded such that event type values can incorporate the safety metric violations and/or related events. For each metric, there is a threshold for triggering a DENM warning message, and the triggering conditions and logic for message generation are also described.

摘要: An architecture to allow the translation or conversion of short-range direct communications between devices with different radio access, such as in a V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication context, is disclosed. In an example, a translation process, such as is performed by a mobile/multi-access edge computing (MEC) communication entity, includes: obtaining or accessing, at a translation function, a communication message (e.g., IP message) provided from a first device operating with a first radio access technology (e.g., LTE C-V2X), the message addressed to a second device operating with a second radio access technology (e.g., IEEE 802.11p or DSRC/ITS-G5); converting the communication message, with the translation function, into a format compatible with the second radio access technology; and initiating a transmission of the translated communication message, from the translation function, to the second device using the second radio access technology.
