Abstract: An apparatus and system for new radio (NR) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) sidelink communications are described. A UE receives, from an assisting UE, inter-UE coordination feedback that contains a preferred resource set and a non-preferred resource set based on a reference configuration and uses preferred resources for the V2X sidelink communications. The preferred resources are dependent on the reference configuration and a resource selection configuration of the UE.

Abstract: Techniques for sidelink resource selection, reselection, and reevaluation are disclosed. An apparatus for a user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for 5G-NR sidelink communications, the processing circuitry is to decode an SCI format received via a PSCCH. The SCI format includes priority information for a scheduled PSSCH transmission. RRC signaling is decoded to determine first configuration information and second configuration information. The first configuration information identifies a sensing window, and the second configuration information identifies a resource selection window. A boundary of the resource selection window is based on the priority information. A set of candidate single-slot resources is determined during the sensing window using a resource pool. A resource is selected during the resource selection window from the set of candidate single-slot resources. Control information is encoded for a sidelink transmission via the PSCCH, where the sidelink transmission uses the resource.

In some embodiments, sidelink control signalling supports the reservation and indication of multiple sidelink resources.

Abstract: Embodiments of a Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and User Equipment (UE) are generally described herein. The gNB may transmit control signaling to configure transmission of position reference signals (PRSs) by a plurality of transmit-receive points (TRPs). The gNB may receive, from the UE, for each of the TRPs, a set of signal location parameters (SLPs). The gNB may perform an iterative process to estimate a position of the UE. For a current iteration, the gNB may: determine a current estimate of the position of the UE based on a current plurality of sets of SLPs; and determine a cost function for each of the current plurality of sets of SLPs. The gNB may determine, based on the cost functions, a next plurality of sets of SLPs for a next estimate of the position of the UE.
