摘要： A process and apparatus for measuring the flow rate of solid granular material in which a sample holder of variable geometry is provided with an aperture containing a shutter. The aperture is opened and the material is collected and weighed. Either the time to collect a given weight or the weight collected in a given time is determined and combined with signals representing the sample holder geometry, aperture cross section and material constants to provide a measure of flow rate.
